Dude I don't what marvel kryptonite Gladiator was on in that book but Gladiator can flip the speed of light hundreds of times.

Juggernaut was less than a joke for Gladiator, Juggernaut took a clean shot at Gladiator who didn't even attempt to block it, Gladiator literally didn't even budge, then threw Juggs away like a bothersome insect.

It's like a piece of shrapnel from a small grenade is fast enough to go clean through a person.

So I assume a galaxy destroying explosion would send somebody flying pretty damm fast.

Dude even before the explosion he was chasing a spaceship with skrulls through the non-existent hyper space where you must travel faster than lightspeed to enter, and if he was shrapnel why was he able to land on earth quote "as gentle as gossamer"(from the issue). Sounds strange to land with total control after being thrown a Hundred Times the Speed of Light, don't chu tink'

Well first off I know Glads is faster than light in space. But not 100x.

And he was referred to a piece of shrapnel in the comic.

true he was referred to as that by Reed Richards, only because ofcourse he didn't know what it was, after all Gladiator had just absorbed a super nove explosion that would have destroyed half the solar system.
