Should love have labels?

It all depends on what you are talking about. The word love has a lot of different meanings depending on the context. Happiness on the other hand, is far simpler.

Love has one true meaning.

That is not true. Love is relative.

I would never "love" a relative, it leads to genetic abnormalies in the offspring

Gay its NOT Genetic

A few years back data was released by the medical world..
a mother who experiences unusally high levevls of stress & anxiety during pregnancy
produces a hormone, that effects the babies hormone levels..
these women had a 90% chance of having a son or daughter who was either bi sexual or gay
so yes unfortunatley its a blame the mother again situation

Perhaps you are referring to the segment on 60 Minutes. Which, actually never said the results soundly ended the question of genetic tendancy. What it DID attempt to do was soundly bring an end to the question of homosexuality being a choice. It didn't have anything to do with stress, it had to do with the chance of the mother's body interacting with the hormones produced by the child's body. If you're going to claim evidence of your opinion, at least know what evidence you're claiming.

Does it matter? Gayness is here to stay. No one can turn the closk back to when gays weren't around.... I bet you'd have to go back to ancient Greece or Rome to find a society without teh gayness.

Has there ever been a time when homosexuality was not around? It is in the bible, after all.

Homosexuality was socially accepted in both Greece and Rome, though they didn't consider people to have a sexual orientation. You got married to have children and had sex with who you like. It became taboo after christianity became the state religion of Rome.

homosexuality could be caused by a specific genetic mutation, or by a person's personal or religious beliefs. it is possible for a person to decide to be a certain sexuality, and then 'fill in the blanks'. the majority of people are actualy born asexual, then as the sex genes develop we become what we want to be.
