U guys as in the people on here who arent interested in hearing about the reasons people become Christians. Im sorry if i wasnt clear but i honestly didnt think u would be interested. I became Christian becoz i realised that Jesus paid the price for my sins by dying on the cross, that he was God's only son and that there was a better place that i was going to after this one. THat GOd's love is endless and that he is willing to forgive anyone, no matter who they are or what they did. THat God loves me for who i am, just the way i am. . . . . . . . dude i could go on and on about the reasons i became a Christian i doubt if what ive said has interested u.

Well, I'll be honest. I'm not really concerend or interested in what made you a Christian. But I don't think that you were born that way. You became christian. Maybe that is why so many christians and ignorant people believe that gays became gay, rather than being born that way. And remember, I'm not addressing you specifically, you post just made me think.

Interesed is a tough term to live up to, whether I am or not. Because I'm not even really interested in what make a gay man gay. I have my opinions(as backed by scientific facts and my own experiences) as to why I'm gay. I'm concerned with my rights to live as I see fit, without causing harm to anyone. But interested, probally not. But since we've been having a discussion where gay people are made to explain why they are gay, I thought it would be nice to get a christian to explain themselves.

All that aside, if you can live your life as a christian and in no way effect my life, then you have my vote. Because I in no way intend to interfere with your right to worship (your) god.

bullies are always a minority who tries to get people along with their way, all you have to do is stand up to them. It takes some spine to do so but it is actually easier than people think it is.
Bullies always look for the weak to pick on and the ones that follow the bully are weak too just that they choose to follow instead being one of the victim. Most people are bystanders leting this happen, but if one rises his voice against it the days of the bully are numbered

Quite often bullies are just people with authority, or bored people. They're not always obvious. It's hard to get someone who you need for your job in trouble discretely, or to implicit someone who just picked on you because they had nothing better to do. If one raises ones voice, they shrug and turn away till tomorrow when it starts again. There's strength in numbers though. If you are with people, or in the "in" crowd of any popular group (like if you’re friends with the caretakers, or a suspected gang member), then you're safe.

If one raises ones voice, they shrug and turn away till tomorrow when it starts again.
bullies cant stand resistance so those who face up to them are often left alone. My motto has always been: Stand your ground and be who YOU are dont be or act how others want you to act or be.

Ytaker> No, I’m not supposed to do ANYTHING. It’s the writers job to ensure the reader understands the meaning of a post, not to stoop to petty insults, as that certainly won’t further any communication.
However, when debaters stoop like that, it usually tells me something about their argumentation skills.

“If they were all despicably evil, and were causing only pain to each other.” So, in your opinion all people on the planet at the time of the Biblical flood were evil?

”If the Egyptians would not released the Jews, then thousands more innocent children would have been killed in slavery. Not just older ones as well.”
So it’s okay to kill the innocents to get your way? If God is all-powerfull why not simply teleport the Jews out og Egypt instead of stooping to plagues and murder? Is God so weak?

I asked: How do YOU know what God thinks?

Your answer: He often tells us what he thinks of a subject in the bible.

He tells US? Who is ”us” here? Are you hearing voices?

Oh, so you’re a genius? I’m just to take your word for it, eh? And studying the Bible lets you know what parts to take literally and what not to how?

Actually they can. Especially if you're weaker. Who cares about what some puny kid does. You obviously have the pure adrenaline needed to force your way out of any situation. Possibly the mental force too, If I'm any judge of character (You seem like a vibrant person with a lot of anger pumping through, a thing nobody bullying likes.)

People like you are rare. Most people seem like unintelligent, smallish sheep to me. They wonder around with each other, and try and achieve somebody else's goal. Unless you have an identity of your own, you cannot defend yourself.

There are three main types of people. Wolfs, rogue wolves, and sheep. The chances are that if a wolf tries to eat a sheep, the sheep won’t head butt. Or try and defend a lifestyle that the others imitate. So with people. Most won’t head butt, but just let the wolf have a little nibble. Maybe shuffle away a bit. So it’s hell for a person if they’re born in a bad situation where the wolves of society try to get a piece of them. Even worse if it’s bad enough to get them to form packs. They’ll hit anything strong hard, and rip a weakling to shreds. If the birthplace is okay with gays, then it should be acceptable. Otherwise, not a fair choice.

You're still supposed to use your English skill. If you have a mind, try and adapt to the sentence.

Yes. That is what the only source says, and so if we're talking about what
happened, we use that. An early form of Eugenics, to give the greater number of people a chance to enter heaven.

God doesn't do that to people. It offers future problems if you just teleport people around, in that the Egyptians would never forget. Having a couple million people vanish like that would cause a instability in the society, just like teleporting or the cars in the world away would. It has to be a human will task, even if the human will is biased, or bad stuff happens. Besides, God gave fair warning. During the plagues, they should have given them up.

Genesis 1:25
So God made the wildlife of the earth according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and creatures that crawl on the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.

I read his word, and see what he was thinking at the time. At that time, he thought it was good. Don't get jumpy.

But I explained it, I was being sarcastic. I suggested that the actual best thing was to have a bible course, or at least ask somebody who did one. They would have many opinions of scholars.

Me too. We're "rebel wolves", using our aggression for what we want, not just trying to satisfy it.

P.S. My IQ is probably closer to 160, as my normal mark is 156-9.

hmm im way of that chart, doesnt it go higher than 200?

Probably one or two in a hundred million go higher. You have special tests for people above that level.

They could get somebody to tell them the questions, and right down the answers. Inability for some to be tested does not make it a bad test.

it is your ability to adapt that show your true IQ

Ytaker> “You're still supposed to use your English skill. If you have a mind, try and adapt to the sentence.”
Tell me, then, how was I supposed to GUESS, that when you used unnatural it meant "deviating from a social norm" rather than a violation of a natural law??

Riiiight! So because ONE book claims all people on Earth (aside from Noah & co. were evil), it’s okay to kill them? How were American Indians supposed to know they were violating God’s laws, as they’d never heard about him?
Hm, so it’s okay for God to use Eugenics and not… others?
And all those who drowned went STRAIGHT to Hell?? Men, women, children, unborn babies?

”God doesn't do that to people. It offers future problems if you just teleport people around, in that the Egyptians would never forget.”
Well, God’s supposedly God. He can just make the Egyptians forget – right? No? Then why didn’t God just make Pharaoh a gentle man, instead of first pissing him off royally?

So you read Genesis. How do you know that’s what happened back then? How can you ”see” what God’s thinking

”Thank you for taking the IQ Test at www.IQTest.com.”
You call THAT an IQ-test? Where’s the spatial questions? And I have to purchase my ”Complete Personal Intelligence Profile”? 😄

Ytaker>

Then the Lord said:

I have seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cries because of their taskmasters. I know their suffering and have come down to deliver them out of the hands of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land to a good and broad land, a land flowing with milk and honey.

Yeah, God sent Moses to be the deliverer, then throws a curveball; God hardens Pharoah's heart so Pharoah won't let the Israelites go.

God to Moses: "Set my people free."

God to Pharoah: "Keep 'em captive."

Hey God, whose side are you on?

Then a plague. God plagued the mighty Pharoah for not letting the Israelites go. God smites Pharoah with the first of ten disasters. One morning, old boy Pharoah strolls down to the beach for, you know, a swim, for a tan, something. He goes down, checks it... Oh! All the water in the Nile has turned to blood.

"Why," that's what Pharoah's asking himself, "Why is there blood in the Nile?"

He asks his priests and his soothsayers but before they can figure it out, swarms of frogs hop out of the water and into the Egyptians' homes; Into their beds and bathtubs and mixing bowls.

Pharoah says, "Enough, the Israelites can get the **** out."

"Yippie," says Moses!

And then, God hardens Pharoah's heart again. At the last minute, Pharoah decides the Israelites can't leave. Suddenly, the dust of Egypt turns to gnats and flies. Imagine, your house, your office, your whole city filled with flies. Imagine the noise, all the buzzing in your head, and bug spray won't be invented for four thousand years yet.

Darkness. For three days straight, only darkness. Think of it, sitting in your house for three days, no lights, no TVs, not even a flashlight to keep the black out. Pharoah is sitting there on his throne, in the dark, wondering when it's all gonna end. All 'cause of God. Doesn't make sense does it, Pharoah taking the blame for what God was gonna do anyway?

The last plague is the worst one. That's the one that messes up our ideas about God. All the firstborn in the land of Egypt killed on one night when everyone's asleep. You the oldest child in the family? Woulda been you. No questions asked. Pharoah's son dies too. His heir, his pride and joy, sweet, innocent little boy.

You reap what you sow. But what about Abdul the farmer who woke up with frogs on his face, his cattle dead from anthrax, his wife ****ed up with sores, his only child dead, all because of a leader he didn't even get to vote for? What about all the people who reap what they don't sow? What about you?

I believe that the Bible says God did it for His own glory, and He was probably punishing the Egyptians for enslaving His chosen people.
