Now me and my friends were discussing this the other day in debate (I'm a dork 😮) and I'm a firm believer in the need to tell the public. I think it's only fair we be informed, because alot of these people re-offend, and it's only fair to put the public on alert.

However, some people say that it wouldn't be fair to the person, who may have made one mistake his whole life, and he shouldn't need to pay for it his whole life, and they believe that it's only fair they be given a second chance.

if i had kids i would like to know. but as much as i beleive Pedophiles should be killed neway, i can understand that they cant release their details for their safety

If you dont like it - vote for someone who says the law will be changed if they get into power. Wont happen. Wonder why? because no political party will ever do that because they KNOW that the ******* knee-jerk response to shit like this will cause more trouble than they could ever deal with.

In my book if you screw a child you should lose your rights. You should also be put in jail for the rest of your life. It's not like it's difficult to avoid having sex with kids.

This is one of the few crimes where I feel it should be one strike, and you're out.

I think chemical castration is the way to go as well as notifying the public. It depends on the situation, but for repeat offenders, I'm all for chemical castration.

i think they should tell us... we have a right to know who were safe and not safe around... just cause they did their time in jail dont mean they wont do it agian
