Race jokes arent funny. A person cant choose their skin colour or their ethnic group.
If you were to wake up tomorrow a part of an ethnic minority, would you still be you? A human with feelings who deserves equality, course you would.
The whole racism thing bugs me, jokes about it bug me.
Jokes about jews, hate them.
Muslim jokes? Hate them
Blonde jokes, steroetypical and insulting
sexist jokes, belittling, not just for women but for the fool who is telling it.

And what is the differance in making a joke about a jew to insulting him?
It is poking fun of a stereotype.
For example... and I will post it is spoiler form.
Spoiler:
Q: How do you get rid of a Jewish cop?A: Go through a toll booth.
The most common Jewish stereotype is that they are penny pinchers; cheap. I laugh, but I am not about to dawn a swastika.
I will tell the odd black joke, but I am not going to go out and buy white bed sheets, but a union flag and a gunrack in the back of my truck.
It is when we can laugh about these matters that we have really come to accept other cultures. Everyone is so worried about being "Politically Correct" that we have lost our sense of humour.
WD, its hard to not listen when you hear them every day
SG, i disagree, i think the more politically correct we get the worse the jokes will get, especially in the media. Imagine directors trying to get the shock facto over us, the word 'n*****' is already widely used in hollywood, its become almost acceptable.

It all depends on the intention/motive to the use. I am "tolerant' of all cultures, minorities, etc...
I have nothing against them, but I do not get all worked up over French jokes... or anything else. Make fun of me all you want.. just buy me a beer when we are done with our jokes.
Due to my style of dress, my use of various skin care products, my fussiness over my hair, I get called Gay a lot, but I take no offence.

Well, people call you gay, ok big deal, you can prove your not. If you are, its your choice, i dont agree with people being prejudice against homosexuals, but i think the bigger problem is racism.
Edit- Afro-cheese, what would you consider a good one? A one that points out a particular ethnic practise? Or a stereotype? Wow, excellent jokes ✅ Let me go get my giant foam 'your number one' hand 😐

There are a lot of things that offend people and those things will never go away. Racist jokes will always exists in society. And I'm sorry you said Hollywood? Did you see Shaun of the Dead? Was it offensive when he big fat guy got out of the car and call those people "N***er"? Of course not, people laughed at that scene in the theather. It was funny!

No you are absolutely wrong - By supporting this kind of jokes, you are supporting the kind of behaviour that causes racism.
By making a racist joke you are clearly marking the difference between the person of that religion, colour or creed - they are different in this way - ha ha ha. You are emphasising, in the jokes, the very same thing people use to discriminate - colour, religion, nationality...
Well I'm not only talking about black jokes.. I'm mainly talking about on TV with stand up comedians.. black comics are racist all the time. It does get old when they do it over and over again but when used properly it's pretty damn funny. Chris rock is hilarious and his jokes are totally racist. I don't see too many white guys getting on stage with jokes against black people though.

When the fat guy got out the car and said 'whats up ni*****' yeah, people laughed when i saw it, thats what bothers me.apparently using a racist word has become funny?
When I saw American History X and the skinhead says that same word I took it offensive. When I saw Shaun of the Dead and the fat guy said that word I took it as funny. You know why? Because is very easy to distinct a drama from comedy.
