So when John's physical body died, the part of his human self that was immaterial and immortal, that got separated from his body.....and is now capable of moral judgement, and susceptible to happiness or misery....was what?

surfer can read minds but refuses to do so and rather talk. Where has he up and assaulted someone telepathically with no plot devices?

I dunno, man. A wise guy once said:

When people say, "They won't use this in battle" is same thing as conceding and saying, " If he uses this in battle, my guy will lose". Instead of that, people should say, "Even using all of it, my guy could tank it (or counter it with.../or do better)" then name how he can counter or with what he can do better and in bigger scale...

In case you were wondering...that guy....it was you.

Damn.

*cue end of 'Stan'.

Well, the first instance was Batman/Ozymandias.

Second was a mod ruling that Before Watchmen was canon. You now admit that it is canon, when previously your stance was that it wasn't canon. From the back of a cereal box, I believe your words were.

So yeah, two Watchmen-related instances where my opinion won out over yours.

I must accept it being canon since it's a mod ruling. And I will debate as if it is canon. But I do not believe it is canon because of the writers interview stating that it isn't and the fact that it contradicts the original Watchmen story in some areas. So you owned me with the mod ruling but not using logic.

Yes you owned me with the Batman/Ozy debate. I'll give you that. You also owned me on the Kingpin debate. I give you props for that.

True, I forgot about the Kingpin one.

A win is a win is a win. That's three then, all related to Watchmen. My e-peen is tremendous right now.

Surfer wins effortlessly. How is this even a debate?

Not really a debate just a bunch of people casually owning time and h1.

No one proved he had a soul, also I don't feel owned. I feel like I owned you 😄

reading minds can't harm DM.

Hey there friends, I don't know about DC, but in Marvel, "abstracts" have some sort of "soul/spirit."

When this Eternity/Universe was nullified by the UN, it's "spirit" remained:

Also, said nullification above erased Chaos and Order, who's "spirits" seemed to be sent to Death's realm.

Prove that telepathy won't work on DM.

That is a interesting way to put it then. Maybe he does have a soul. If you consider a conscious a soul. In my thoughts I don't consider a conscious a soul.

What would you consider a soul, then?

H1 came in and pasted what he believed a soul to be defined as. Which sounds identical to what Manhattan has. How about yourself?

Also, when Mr Master posts......I dunno, I feel like really big stuffs about to go down. Almost like when the abstracts get involved. Heady stuff.

I didn't say telepathy won't work. I'm saying that surfer is able to read minds (he chooses not to do so and rather talk as explained by him on panel). Reading minds doesn't ko or kill anyone. So how will it benefit Surfer in winning?

when has reading someone mind koed or killed someone?

Ah OK. If I'm reading you right, correct me if I'm wrong (and I apologise), you're saying Surfer's telepathy is limited to mind reading only, and that he lacks the ability to mount a telepathic offense?

When this guy posts its like you hear the door of an old school new York comic book shop creaking open 👆

Love Mr. Master posts. One of the best imo. If not the best.
