How do you know it's just not stating that they are equal as jedi's or on the council? Does it have to be fighting abilities?

That line "on par" is put right after "a respected jedi".

It's a few links, and apparently, you have nothing better to do. All the links show force attacks and are hardly irrelevant, I purposely left out dueling, because, it wasn't being discussed. By the way, saying, "I'm too lazy to look at how powerful Vader is, so Dooku wins" is hardly an argument.

All it takes is a blast of lightning. Vader has no way of defending himself. His life support system would get f*cked up.

If he could of defended against force lightning, then I am pretty sure the emperor would be a goner.

Well, it has always been said that Vader was especially susceptible to lightning... so I would assume no. The lightning could travel to the hilt (as the hilt is metallic, hence a good conductor of electricity) and then enter Vader's cybernetic system. Afterwards he gets ****ed over as the lightning fries his circuits.

I don't know which DJ's you are talking about... But if so, did they no force lightning? I doubt they were as powerful as the count.

Lol, I school to get to when I wrote that post so really I didnt have time. Also my mistake, I didnt know you were demonstrating Vaders force powers. However from the first one I looked at it still doesnt seem relevant. Vader is beating a variety of dog creatures (sorry i dunno what they are). They look like they have nodefence against the force and the only thing they have the advantage with is numbers. Completely different to a duel. Dooku can block force attacks and match Vader in force strength. He can also match Vader in duelling strength as well. So really the pics (the first one at least) holds no relevance to the duel.

The fact that Vader's saber hilt is an electrical conductor (made of electrum I think?) doesn't really help him. He won't be able to block Dooku's lightning with his saber. The lightning is just going to travel through the lightsaber into Vader's cybernetic system.

Vader in suit. Vader not in suit is easy, watch ROTS. Vader in suit prevails, definately, you guys can argue all you want. I'm going to bed.

Yeah totally. Lightning absolutely pwns him! That's why he had a cadre of Dark Jedi (EACH one knowing damn well about Force Lighting) that couldn't dream to surpass him and feared him like a god!
