he dosn't have to take that beating... wolverine's good enough not to as well but he knows he can take it, cn can take some spidey punches IMO but he's good enough to avoid them altogether and that's precisely what he does.

you know that I don't think that..and you know I'm well read on spidey's feats and such... I'm jut pointing out that he can be killed, he can be stabbed, he can be hit....once again...most of the villains he faces aren't well trained fighters...when they are (luckly for him) they usually tend to be street levels.

Snake beat CNs ass, and SM outclasses Snake in EVERY way. Not only that, but SM fights powerful villains all the time. He's used to that, CN isn't - mutants, supervillains, monsters, zombies, werewolves, vampires, heroes, aliens... SM has fought them all.
Cyber Ninja is just another villain (with few cool moves and a some superpowers)... nothing special.
Maybe he'll get a footnote in Spider-Mans diary.

you seriously need to give CN the credit he deserves... if it was CN who was faced with spiderman's rogues.. a lot of those rogues would now be dead plain and simple...
we've already successfully disputed the "snake beat him" argument... and are still waiting a decent answer to this one... how come spiderman has such a difficult problem with expert fighters? how is he going to fair better and win against an expert fighter with comparable stats to his own?

Okay, to be fair, I haven't read any comics featuring the new and improved Spiderman except for his first appearance. However if we're using the original version of Spidey, I'd say Cyborg Ninja takes it due to the reasons why I gave before.
If you can give any feats from the upgraded Spiderman. Then I would definately give it some thought. But until then, I'd stick with Grayfox.

But it's all we have, a few in game movies and a famous fight scene. He was so fast he did instant transmition type of teleporting at times, and even when he wasn't he was still amazingly fast... and chopping through stuff with less effort than that wolverine. At one point, after the ocelot gunfight were you're chasing him around and hes got that guy tied up with all the C4 around him, he leaps into the air -- and as you know they are in an underground level of a military base-- and chops out a giant piece of the cieling, easily bigger than he himself is, by moving his arm in blurs like DBZ character, then did some slow motion matrix backflip while still coming down the leap, and backflip kicks it across the room at Snake. And Snake was no ho either, instead backflip out of the way of the m1A1 tank blast, he took it in the chest.
