That is an interesting distinction. Imperial doesn't HAVE to equal Evil. I cauht this theme in some of the Star Wars novels I've read. Many Imperials aren't neccessarily evil, they're simply following orders. In one short story, Boba Fett explained to Leia why he does what he does. He doesn't hate the Rebels (with the exception of Solo, probably) but they are simply criminals opposing the current government. He is simply bringing in legaly wanted criminals in a legal manner. (I know it's EU, not starting a Boba Fett debate. Just an example I'm drawing on.) It's an interesting take on some Imperial personalities.
That's just what you think - the story was told from the rebel side. We didn't have the lives of all those stoprmtroopers - some probably had wives and families.
Talking of that, unless the Death Star was for single men only (a sort of 'Let's blow up another planet' bachelor party) then Luke kille hundreds of women and children. What a bastard.
Oh, I know he doesn't, at least not for this game. I meant to put that in my post, just didn't. I was just pointing out that I thought it was an interesting angle. But no, that wouldn't have the feel Ush clearly says he's going for in this game. On the other hand, I don't think that every imperial player must be a malicious, depraved individual, which is what I think Dark meant. Otherwise it could lead to complicated moral conflicts, not what we want with this one.

😂
It was most likely just military personnel. It was supposed to be pretty top secret before it started blowing things apart. So I doubt there were women and children on board...
Ush will smack down you gray folk. 😛

Well... Considering it's a circle - then neither do the forces of good!
Good Lord, someone has been listening to Ascar! He'd be pleased.
And yup, no grey in this game. And as GL says about the people killed on the Death Star- 'it was just a bunch of bugs anyway'.
So there you go.
As fate (or the Force) has it, the Alliance never actually has to do anything highly morally questionable to achieve its goals; it is part of the essence of the OT.
