Again that dogma has NOTHING...but NOTHING to do with Christ's birth...only Mary's alleged freedom from the stain of Original sin at the MOMENT of her CONCEPTION...therefore, the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION [which, of course, I DON'T believe because I am NOT Catholic] is a false doctrine. You clearly don't know what you are talking about.

Too, the Mormon doctrine of IMMACULATE CONCEPTION concerning Christ is also FALSE for He was God from EVERLASTING and COULD NOT be born in SIN [and was WITHOUT sin even in His FLESH]. He "who knew no sin" [2 Corinthians 5:21] could NOT go to the cross for the sinner as an acceptable sacrifice for sin if He could NOT be "made sin for us" [2 Corinthians 5:21] and take upon Himself "the penalty" due US for those sins.

Your "christ" is NOT the Christ of the Scriptures...he is a CREATED being [NOT God] and, as such, NOT sinless...the product of sexual intercourse by your Father "god" [i.e., who has FLESH and BONES] and Mary. Your Father "god" is the "god" of this PLANET...the "god" of this world...to wit [SATAN]: "In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the IMAGE of God, should shine unto them" [2 Corinthians 4:4].

Immaculate
Definition
[list=1][*]Impeccably clean; spotless. See Synonyms at clean. [*]Free from stain or blemish; pure. [*]Free from fault or error: an immaculate record. [*]Having no markings. [/list]

Immaculate conception is a correct statement concerning Christ's conception in Mary's womb. Now, once again, are you stating that Christ's conception was not immaculate?

Christ's conception was an immaculate conception from a Christian perspective.

Quit insulting me and answer whether or not you believe Christ was immaculately conceived.

what church do you go to

I think I might put him on ignore

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the Mormons).

I would suggest it, me being Mormon, must consider responding to him due to my inability to allow others to believe he is correct in his statements and that we cannot rebut said statements.

a cult.... 😠

Get over yourself. He says we're all part of cults.

These mind-melting cults have gotten so far by convincing their members that everyone else in cults and they're the only sane people.

Like the Branch Davidians

I don't know, but don't sweat it.

He said I was dead once....

As in I said (essentially):

"Is there a reason not to listen to the opinions of others?"

And he said essentially:

"Yes, because they are DEAD! Without God they are dead, and they can't have God if they disagree with what I am saying, since I do have God."

Which is a convenient way to remain blind and death - everyone who disagrees is automatically wrong. Just like God can never do anything bad because of his God clause - ie. everything God does is good, no matter what it is that has been done.

Do we really have to go through this again?

What does "Christian" mean? Well, it means "belonging to Christ" or, in easier terms, "Follower of Christ". And since Mormons follow Jesus they are Christians. That's the end of it.

I've said that numerous times, but he doesn't respond to me anymore. Either he doesn't know what to say, or the reasoning of an Atheist are less offensive to the reasonings of other Christians. I think he is concentrating on the Mormon faith so he can type "cult" a lot.

***The Jesus Christ of the Bible was IMMACULATE from everlasting and, as such, was born IMMACULATE [i.e., without sin]...and lived His life SINLESSLY. However, the "christ" that YOU worship is NOT the Christ of the Scriptures and "he" [i.e., the CREATED "christ" of the Mormon fairytail] was NOT born IMMACULATELY. So, yes indeed, the Jesus Christ from the Christian perspective was born SINLESS...but you are NOT a Christian and your "jesus" was NOT born sinless...if "he" was born at all.
