I think you're applying this to me, but what makes you think Captain America has a chance?
His feats.
Physically, Cap is on another level entirely than Batman. That really can't be argued in my honest opinion. Skill wise, it's generous to claim that Batman is Cap's equal or his superior (something I disagree with, but if someone thinks Bruce is slightly more skilled than Steve based off his ninja-influenced combat style, so be it). But even if we arbitrarily decide Bruce is more skilled than Cap, there's no possible way that skill evens the considerable strength, speed, stamina, and durability edges that Rogers possesses.
Cap doesn't just has a chance at beating Batman; it's probable that it will be a decisive victory at that.

Agreed that Cap is on another level to Batman, in physical aspects. But skill wise and intellectual I think Bruce has Steve in the bag. (Reading the DC vs Marvel crossover) I think my mind's been influenced too strongly by this ahaha. But as I said I think Bruce's skill/brain should give him an equal edge to Steve's physical prowess. Maybe it's just me that looks at it this way. lol

Don't forget quab, that he has no gadgets with him.
*Hopefully this merges with my post, as I don't want to double-post*
I know he doesn't have gadgets, would've made things easier. But I'm just firm to believe that his skill-set can fight on par with Captain America and maybe be able to best him 4/10.

True, Batman's smarter than Captain America, but in a hand to hand confrontation with no plot devices to speak of and no weapons or equipment, that intellect won't do him much any good.
And while we're on the subject of brain power, Cap's brain operates faster than a normal human being does as he's able to process information quicker and his body is able to respond accordingly. Batman generally has a wider range of styles to fall back on regular as opposed to Rogers, whose focus is primarily on Boxing, Judo, Karate (something else I'm missing), but both men have been stated and shown to be masters of virtually every form of combat known to man. Cap even mastered the high-tech alien martial arts Kang the Conqueror employs in moments, superseding Kang himself, who presumably had the form mastered for years. Not sure if Batman has a similar feat of instantaneous martial arts mastery.
In a straight up physical contest with no weapons or gear, I can't honestly think of a single advantage Bruce has that matters in the end against Steve.

I understand that Captain America is physically better than Batman, and their skillset is nearly equal, but I think Bruce might have a chance to win in a fight. Maybe I keep thinking Captain America wouldn't be injured, but I guess I can agree with you that Captain America would take this fight. The location was in a Octagon ring. If it were in a different setting (like a city), and/or both sides were given prep then I'd think Bruce would win.
Bruce's physical feats are easily comparable. Cap's highest end feats gives him a slight edge. Steve is certainly not "on another level" physically according to a typical showing.
It's amazing how posters who supposedly are well versed in knowledge concerning both cap and batman can claim cap has such a large physical edge in spite of bruce regularly displaying obviously inhuman, low-meta level physical feats. Then they dispute bruces skill edge in spite of the fact that batman clearly exhibits more martial arts knowledge, versatility, and training in his comic appearances.
