Captain America vs Batman(no shield-no gadgets)

If we guage the feats, Bats definately wins, his feats are off the chain.
If we went by that, Bats would take his shield, and he wouldn't even know it was gone, and then try to block with it while Batman kicks him in the stomach and KOs him.

Then Batman wins, cause there's no other way to fairly judge them in crossovers and feats that are canon in continuity seem to be credible representations of the characters capabilities.

But I always thought Batman would win anyway:
6/10

If by guage feats you mean count Batman's and ignore Cap's, then yeah

Really? Batman runs around with the JLA, has punched out gods, thrown down with Wonder Woman and Superman, pushed Green Lantern and took the ring off of his hand before he even knew it, and knows the answers to nearly every plot before it even begins.
Even Superman can't detect him, while standing in a room with him for an hour. Superman can hear crickets from the moon and see the edge of the universe. He knew Martian Manhunter was behind him, while invisible/intangible.

Batman in the comics is insane.

Very well said. ✅

If by "insane" you mean "PIS powered". Then yes DC has unfortunately made my Batman into the most "insane" character I can think of. Cap can't beat PIS Bats. Hell, THE AVENGERS & JLA combined can't take PIS Bats down. Supes knew Bats was in the room, but he's such a goody 2 shoes that he'll say anything to make Batman feel good.🙂

wtf does PIS mean?

"Plot Induced Stupidity." 😉

What gods?

thrown down with Wonder Woman and Superman

King Thor and Hulk.

pushed Green Lantern and took the ring off of his hand before he even knew it,

I bet he could make a decent living as a pick-pocket

and knows the answers to nearly every plot before it even begins.

That didn't stop his plans being stolen during TOB,OMAC and IIRC War Games(whatever the name of that arc was where the Spoiler stole his plans)

Even Superman can't detect him, while standing in a room with him for an hour. Superman can hear crickets from the moon and see the edge of the universe. He knew Martian Manhunter was behind him, while invisible/intangible.

And yet a random thug with a keyboard was able to sneak up and ko him

Batman in the comics is insane.

Only if you only take his high end showings and ignore anything else, however you could do that with almost anyone

Batman Wins

Physically, Batman is at a disadvantage. Batman also doesn't possess his utilities belt. This means Batman would eventually be taken out. The only thing Batman has on his side is his genius level intelligence. Unfortunately I don't know if this is enough to prolong the fight or even give batman a bit of an edge to a slim but possible victory. Comics are very unpredictable, anything can happen. It all depends on the writer.

King Thor and Hulk.

Don't complain about PIS if your gonna post PIS

With Kyle's ring and his intelligence, he'd be far more than just a pick-pocket.
Here's that scan incase some haven't seen it.

I could do that to Kyle. He's a moron. He tried to punch Deathstroke. He's slow in every sense of the word.

Ok ok, I feel that, perhaps this represents his speed a bit more:

He just caught those arrows at close range, when they're at their maximum speed, but that wasn't convincing, perhaps catching Green Arrow's shots will be:

I'm not the one complaining about PIS, I find it's more fun to respond in kind, especially since King Thor >> Superman and WW combined

Doesn't stop the fact that thousands of people from pick-pockets to magicians can pull that trick

Well if you're going to include King Thor, were Cap got eye beamed and killed, we can include Spectre during Day of Judgement for Batman, and then again threatened to take him down at the beginning of volume 4. Both instances Batman actually lived through.

Batman however wasn't physically knocking the Spectre around

Can they catch Green Arrow's shots while being blindsided?
Or the Captain for that matter?
Just asking, but I do like the proof of scans, not just slick talk.

Here Batman is using mind tricks along with speed to disappear on a cop:

Not Impressive enough, how about on Superman:

Batman: "Invisibility is a relative thing, superman, sometimes all it requires is wits, and a matchless knowledge of the city"

The Man!

From the Cap repsect thread

Here Cap's speed impresses Quicksilver.

Some Cap speed feats.

Here Cap avoids the shooter by running so fast he's already behind him, while the shooter is shooting at Cap were he started. As one person mentions how'd he move so?

Here Cap gets shot a point blank range and ends up behind the shooter.

Here Cap is surrounded as Cap jumps so fast they don't know were he went.

These guys couldn't even get a bead on Cap as they were waiting for him.

Here Cap slices through a rammer thats inches away from his face.

Here Cap throws his shield and is quick enough to move at the same speed of his shield.
