Don't seem to kill anybody? What's this nonsense? Sidious' force lightning doesn't seem to kill anybody in the movies, so that means it can't right? And I guess you forget about the jedi he drained. His force drain is deadly, as well as his choke and lightning. His force abilities are beyond Anakin by the time of ROTS. Now Vader would be a different story.

Vader would rape Malak? It's so nice you offered a compelling argument to back up your claims. It's also nice that you know something not even the star wars writers know, Malak's potential compared to that of Palpatine, and Vader. So he "clearly" isn't more than twice the power of Malak. In fact, Malak would give him a serious run for his money in force abilities, and more than likely would defeat him in saber combat.

Is that so? We know that Revan, who is better than Malak, is somewhere weaker than TPM Sidious and we know that Vader is 80% as good as ROTJ Sidious, who is a lot better than TPM Sidious. So Vader is logically at least Malak's equal, if not his superior.

As of the movies, which are approximately 4000 years after Revan's time, Yoda was stated in the ROTS novel to be the strongest Jedi ever to have lived. That would put him at some undefined point above Revan and since he and Sidious are equal, Sidious also at some undefined point above him also.

Is the ROTS Novel in universe? If it is, does that mean Revan can't be equal to Yoda? Where's the hierarchy exactly? And what exactly does the novel state?

I can't give quotes tonight as I don't have the book at the house I'm at. However, and I believe that LS can back me on this, it directly states in a part of the book that is canon because it in no way contradicts the movies, that Yoda is the "greatest foe the darkness had ever known" or something along those lines. Revan, in his canonical Jedi state, would also have been a foe to the Darkness and he would have been one that the Darkness had seen before Yoda, so he would have to be weaker than Yoda. Again, you can ask LS about it next time he shows up or you can wait a while for me to have the book at hand.

Is it an in universe quote? And what does it explain exactly? And that would put Yoda ahead of Revan? One could argue that since there is no hierarchy, Revan could be on par with Yoda.
The quote is from the omniscient narrator. Plain and simple it says that Yoda is stronger than any Jedi before him. Revan was a Jedi before Yoda, so yes, it would put Yoda ahead of Revan. On par? No. It says "the greatest" not "tied for the greatest" or "amoung the greatest" or anything like that.
