That's what most women say too about me. 😉 😂

The only thing that I don't like about Griffey is that he should have been a Mariner his whole career he doesn't look quiet the same in a Red's uniform....

Yeah but his dad Played for the Reds and he grew up here =P.

That's an fantasy now to think a player will be staying for one team they're whole entire career.
Not saying it wont happen at all, just saying its pretty hard.

Not really, Edgar, Cal, Tony Gwinn, Kirby Pucket just to name a few. Its not hard for a player to stay on a team their whole career they just need to be good. Edgar Martinez was a Mariner for about 17 years....

If Wayne Gretzky can be traded, ANYONE can be traded.😬

yep, those good days of a player sticking with one team his whole career are for sure over with.Thats one of the reason I have got fed up with baseball. 😠 players these days are just too damn greedy. They played the game and never thought about the money. They were just thrilled about being paid to play the game.there wasnt so many A-HOLES like Johnny Damon who just jumps from team to team to play the game only for the love of the money.I would feel this way about football as well but Its more exciting to watch on tv and it being a once a week event, its a lot more easy to get excited about football games than baseball.

This thread is becoming a little stupid. Baseball is a competition, they are gonna boast a little when they accomplish something, Mr. Parker idk why you think he is imature(Griffey). Hitting a homer is no easy thing so why the **** shouldn't a player be happy when he hits a homer...Players are trying to beat eachother its not a friendly game of chess or something, its a major sport where people get into it and want to show their happiness...

And what did he do then?

Enlightening me?

people also need to remember the business side of things, sports today are about making money, for the players, the owners, the advertisers everything. Its a business above all else, because if they dont make money they wont exist.

^yep and just to remind everybody baseball is a competition they are paid to be competitive. If they take it too far then obviously then thats a different issue...

your willingnes to defend these greedy A-HOLE jerks like Johnny Damon and A-ROD astounds me Forumcrew. They should be happy and grateful about getting paid just a million dollars a year to play a game when the majority of people across the country are just getting by on salarys in the mid 20's or 30's.But they have gotten so greedy and selfish they dont care about loyalty to the fans or appreciate the team that drafted them anymore.they only care about number one-themselves.I want the good ole days back when players played the game for the love of the game instead of the love for the money.Players these days, make so much money most of them dont go all out and hustle out a groundball to first base anymore.

something I dont understand is why they are saying that Bonds recently broke Hank Aarons national league all time home run record with 734 when as we know,Aarons record is 755.what are they talking about? Also it seems more and more evident that Bonds did indeed take steroids the last few years since his trainer has been sentenced to prison for refusing to testify.I mean come on,if the guy is clean why be afraid to get on the stand and tell the truth and then decide to go to prison for not getting on the witness stand?

They need substancial evidence which they arent going to get. Bonds is going to end up with the record, it would be straight bullsh*t if he doesnt get into the hall of fame.

My guess is Aaron played in the AL for a bit....

Its obvious that he did though.Jose Canseco in his book Juiced which came out a couple years ago or so talked about players who had done steroids.Himself,Mcguire,Rafael Palmero, and many others including Bonds.Again that book was written like 3 years ago or so and just last year,Palmero, one of the players he mentioned did indeed test positive from steroid use.Seems like Canseco was telling the truth.Thats why so many players lashed out at him because they were pissed he was knarking on them.He was out of baseball so he now had nothing to lose by not telling the story.Bonds should have been barred from the game and after this latest incident of the trainer going to jail for refusing to testify,he for sure should not be allowed back next year.If he does come back,he will indeed break it.He does belong in the hall no doubt, but all time home run records and most home runs in the season should not be listed up there for accomplishments of his.
