Ok I'mmmm back....Anyways Griever, I think you asked me what my point was with the whole attacking you on the Strong leader of garden argument. Well here it is, with exact quotes...
Originally posted by GrieverSquallHere you say you believe Cid was strong.
Also, Cid was Edea's knight, so... I highly believe he was also a strong fighter...But yeah, /thread.

Cid was actually pathetic, he was even being pushed around by his own faculty just before the Norg fight...He was Edea's husband, yes, but there was no mention of him being her knight, the title Sorceress' knight was self proclaimed by Seifer...
Originally posted by GrieverSquallOk here's my point....We see in your first post you call Cid strong...But then you go on to agree with Draxx that Cid is weak only because it supports your position that "to be the leader of garden you must be strong."
Then that supports me even more. To be the leader of Garden, you must be strong. The title of Knight was from the movie Laguna was filming, called the Sorceress Knight or something, I believe.
Your willing to contradict yourself in order to further your points....this is bad juju lol
Also, I repeat, I am not turning against you lol I am on Squall's side all the way. Consider this more of a Squall fanboy civil war lol

You may be on Squall's side, but you are clearing attacking me here. It seems you can't read very well my posts. Let's try once more. Here.
Originally posted by GrieverSquall: Read my post... I believe he WAS a fighter, I didn't said Cid IS strong, nor I haven't stated anything, he by himself said he is too old for this when he demanded Squall to take charge of the Garden's mobile system
What part of I believe he WAS a fighter you do not understand?
This isn't even an statement EITHER.
My original quote.

Cid MAY have been a fighter in his younger age, or not. I just believe it, as he has founded a entire institution of combat specialists, I can assume he knew something about fighting and military operations. I NEVER said he IS a fighter and that he IS strong, so there's no contradiction, stop putting words in my mouth, your strange and suddenly attempt in making me look bad won't work, friend.
Originally posted by GrieverSquallNo need to take this so negatively. But anyways, you said in quote....I'm reading the quote right now.... "I highly believe he was a *strong* fighter." not just "a fighter." But a "strong fighter." Look up in my other post. That is the EXACT quote you said.

It happens that I am getting kind of... Tired of this meaningless discussion already, you know? This leads nowhere. And you keep trying to attack me, I wonder why. All I did is to reinforce one of your points.
Anyway, is more of the same, I BELIEVE he WAS. Apparently he isn't anymore. Got it or not?
So we all agree that Cid is not a fighter, and was never a fighter. In essence, you do not need to be strong to be the leader of garden but you need to be strong to be the commander of SeeD...
It's a bit confusing I agree because when Squall was promoted to commander, it was also mentioned that he became leader of the garden...
But...
personally for me, taking everything into context, I take Squall as garden leader with a grain of salt, I view it as sort of like emergency powers given to him by Cid who was still the de facto leader...

Cid could have been a fighter.
Is very likely, but that does not really concerns me.
Let's make things clear, because I sense everyone is misunderstanding concepts. If you have just to give an order to someone, yes, you do not need to be strong to give that order. However, when it comes to lead battles across the world and an entire army of the most powerful warriors in the planet, as well as being the one taking the most dangerous operations, then yes, you need to be strong. Therefore that's what a SeeD Commander does, so you must be strongest to take that place, the highest SeeD Rank in the Garden. Being just a mere school Headmaster isn't the same, as such, you gave the best example of it, Cid was pushed away by one of the Garden Faculties, apparently the Garden needed a strong leader, otherwise that wouldn't have happened. Besides, Cid leaves the Garden, if I remember correctly, he's living with Edea at the Orphanage. So let's say Squall is both things, Commander AND Headmaster.

😆
Now you're saying that Squall is both commander and headmaster, I think youre the one misunderstanding concepts, since youre taking everything out of context...
as I said, you have to take Squall's status as garden leader (not SeeD commander), with a grain of salt, as going by the events after the clash of gardens, it looked like that was a one time thing only...
also you implied that Cid has completely relinquished his authority since he is now at the orphanage with Edea, by that logic then the same would apply to Squall, because the moment Squall left for Esthar, he never returns to the mobile garden AT ALL...
where was SeeD in Esthar? what was SeeD during the lunar cry? what was SeeD's role when the Lunatic Pandora landed on Tear's Point? where was SeeD when Squall broke in the Sorceress Memorial? I could go on and on...
Fact is, by this time till the end, there is no mention or indication of the Garden, which is why again, Squall being garden leader must be taken with a grain of salt and taken in the proper context...

Not really, as I said, SeeD Commander is a different title, Headmaster is by fact not the same thing. If I am not mistaken, Squall is still taking orders from Cid after those events, correct me if I'm wrong. I don't think that was a one time thing only, Squall pretty much takes the most important missions during the story, like going to the future to kill Ultimecia, that's pretty much an order that you wouldn't give to someone if is not the best and strongest warrior that you have at your disposal. Where was SeeD in Esthar, The Lunar Cry and the Sorceress Memorial you ask...? And what the hell is that supposed to mean? What the hell are Squall and his team? SeeDs, RIGHT? Y'know, you wouldn't suggest the entire Garden is going to travel through Time Compression as well, right? 'Cause, that's ridiculous.

The game ends with the mobile guardian coming to pick him up and with him on it, I believe that counts as returning AT ALL. 😐
They were in Esthar and all those other places, Squall had his group of SeeD and Rinoa haermm
Besides he dreaded the thought of even having to worry about any of the other SeeDs, he even said he just wanted to get the mission over with so he wouldn't have to worry about them.
lulz, are you referring to Squall's party which he abandoned to go to Esthar and search for Ellone? You make it seem as if he ordered them to come with him. Had it not been a coincidence that Edea needed escorts to go see dr. Odine, Squall would have preferred to go solo...wait, which he did in the first place...
besides, I meant SeeDs such as Xu et al, not Squall's party...

And your point? Because I see no point.
Does that change something? 'Cause, Squall deciding things by himself has nothing to do with anything.
Xu? Some of the SeeDs needs to stay in the Garden due of the many responsibilities they must attend.
What do you mean? Squall's party are SeeDs... Except Rinoa. 😐

True. But he's still from a Garden.
No I'm not, don't worry about it.
I can point out things if I want. I wasn't necessarily saying that you said that. Never mind the fact that you asked where were the SeeDs. 😐
I've answered to your question already, I think.
