The couple times he tried to help Superman in that fight, Doomsday had a counter for everything he had, just like DD had a counter for everything Supes did [including flying] everything motherbox gave to Supes[sonic devices, energy weapons etc], until motherbox itself decided the only way to win was to drop him off at the end of time. People completely underestimate DD's ability to adapt.
but he can't beat Doomsday?

Originally posted by SkeetsThey harm him very little. Besides when he emerged in the Joker's Last Laugh as the firebreathing version, he dominated Supes physically horribly every time. In Hunter Prey Supes dared not to go hand to hand against him and if he did, it was a stick and move manuever, and fly into the air... In Death of Superman he only learned how to harm him there at the end... In Our Worlds at War, DD was showing up Supes against the Imepriex Drones, and [without having read the story in a while] I remember him slapping Supes aside too. In Infinite Crisis, DD was swatting our Supes down until the Earth 2 one showed up for backup. In Gog wars, he was clearly much more a better match against Gog than Supes was.
DD hasn't adapted to a punch from supes.....

Originally posted by SkeetsActually, he beat up our Superman momentarily until E2 Supes came in to stop him, and then our Supes joined him.
In Crisis? All Doomsday did was stand there and get two pieced....
Would T-Vo work on Doomsday....😖hifty:
For the other part, I don't know.
The real Doomsday doesn't have a real intelligence that I think would be required of a being to use TVO on..
Even then it would probably come down to if DD could adapt to it or not.

Are sure I'll have to look at it again.I just remember Supes and E-2 Supes knocking him on his ass.
Our Supes get punched and E2 Supes lays the smackdown on DD. Once our Supes is back on his feet, they lay the smacketh down.
You sound like you have a grudge against these characters...
Recently, I learned that DD's strength can increase with his anger as well...scary considering he starts out at above standard Superman strength.

Im sorry, but am I the only one that fails to see how Waverider is on SS's lv?
Waverider is basically a master wielder of the Time Gem with cosmic powers to boot.
Waverider's a jobber. He should have no problem dealing against opponent whose on the level of Supes.
PC and exotic forms of energy when combined can produce diff. results. Ie. PC and Hex could be quite far dangerous (last planet standing #5), PC and OA'S energy can become reality warping abilities (SS and GL crossover) Time manipulation energy combined with PC, well whose to say it would have desame effect in accordance to Waveriders well (but this is just pure speculation ofcourse).

Most of the time he can't really help people.
i remeber one issue in CM ..... when the wizard shazam needed CM to go back in time..... WR couldn't help there........ so he had to use the rock of eternity.
Waverider jobs .... or isn't that good to start with.

Really having DD there seemed a little forced. But I don't think there was anything saying he under Dr Psycho's power. DD has already grown immune to psychics.
