So you're not a foreign correspondent? Or a policy analyst? Or an academic on Middle East affairs?Tell me, what in your 11 years of age over mine has garnered you said wisdom.
No need to at this point, you have already illustrated in your previous posts.
oh and double post.

I am sorry, I can't see much of the wisdom you claim to have. And to just disregard someones post because they are younger than you is a very cowardly and stupid thing to do, you didn't learn that in the 11 years you got on us? Oh well, now you know it.

I cannot fit 11 years worth of education into a post so I guess not🙂 I can disregrad someone's post because they are younger then me or for any reason.
That's a nice cop out. What happened to "Don't be shy."
No cop out, its just the truth.

Well, I could disregard your post because you are unable to grasp the difference between "then" and "than", but I won't...because even though I am younger than you I have the wisdom to not disregard opinions for shallow reasons.
So, is the general problem that you lack arguments or why do you use the "You're younger than me" card?
We pay for the use of your body and your trigger finger, not your brain, soldier. Now FIRE! YES SIR! If it were not so tragic, it would be hilarious. Little boys playing soldiers at the expense of other people's lives:
Hey soldier, you left a pile of bodies there in a country you only arrived in yesterday, what did they do to you?
They're the enemy, Sir.
Have you ever spoken to them?
Of course not, Sir.
Never considered that they are just like you, with families and children and aspirations to build a better life in the face of the bloody dictator your army has been flown in to defend? [or the target the Elite want to remove].
No Sir.
Ever read anything about this country you're in?
No Sir.
Then how do you know they're your enemy?
My commanding officer told me Sir.
And who told him?
His commanding officer, Sir.
And who's the chief commanding officer at the top of this heap?
The President, Sir.
And who commands the President?
The people, Sir, this is a democracy.
How many of "the people" just told you to kill that pile of bodies?
Well, one Sir.
And who was that?
My commanding officer, Sir.
And who told him?
(See above)
I think it's funny how some are bitching about the killing of civilians. It's tragic, yes, but when there is fighting going on you cannot expect innocent lives to survive it, not all of them at least. Our enemies, or terriorists, use hostages, or hide behind civilian areas because they know that we'll hesitate to attack, giving them the advantage to strike first. I've heard the statement, "In the rules of combat, blah blah blah..." What rules? There are no rules, especially if someone can wipeout an entire block, or 20, with the push of a finger. In War, anything goes. People will die, including civilians... and children. And risking the lives of our soldiers to save civilians, that can very well be used against us, is a waste of energy... and lives. Killing innocent people is not something Isreal wants to do, but in order to protect themselves, they have to do something. They will make mistakes, but they do what needs to be done.

I would agree if it was in any way justified, but since Israel just kills the civilians for the heck of it I find it to be my right to point it out.
Originally posted by Phoenix2001Yes, we should be very pleased that they have yet to kill all the civilians in Lebanon. Obviously then and only then they've crossed a line and gone too far.

Originally posted by Phoenix2001Hezbollah hide their weapon caches among civilian areas. However they mostly launch their attacks away from towns and villages; BBC foreign affairs editor John Simpson attests to this. The rocket attacks have gone on unabated throughout the Israeli offensive - what exactly the offensive has achieved thus far I'm at a loss to determine.

Originally posted by Phoenix2001Killing civilians is not something that Israel wants to do, but nor is it something Israel minds doing. There is a difference between making a mistake and killing civilians by attacking targets without regard for the foreseeable civilian casualties. Some incidents such as the shelling of the UN base, marked ambulances and journalist's transports, warrant investigation.

Does Hezbollah know this? Do they care?
Maybe not, but Hezbollah (last time I checked) isn't part of the UN. And I know for fact that Israel knows it...and still shits on it...to be honest if any of the Muslim countries around there would do it they would have been invaded by the US or other countries right away...
