No.
1. He was numb below the waist.
2. He had protective clothing, which means the punches would have hurt even more.
furthermore if the fight carried on and Cap kept hitting him with punches he could have gone down.
Boxers can recover from being stunned in seconds but if they dont get time to recover they're finished.

well if the idea garners some support and Digi doesn't have a problem with it then I'll do it for sure.
We would just need the Spidey fans to be respectful of the thread itself and leave debates out of it even if they didn't agree, as with any respect thread.

I believe they can hit him, but I do believe he's a good deal faster in high gear, especially after his even more recent upgrades. 😬 Average guys and peak humans/enhanced humans shouldn't just hit him with no problem at all.
Spiderman is generally shown as a hell of a lot faster than Captain America.
The way he bounces around guys like Hulk and Juggernaut is WAY above Captain America's capacilities...
Spiderman hits first, Spiderman hits HARD. Captain America's durability is the peak of human-capacilities, and NO HUMANS can take a 15-20 ton punch to the head, where Spiderman usually punches.

It could be argued that they have got better. Hell if you look at what Cap could do in the past hes been downgraded. Oldschool Cap would probably murder Spiderman.

Cap has been shown to dodge Hulk/Juggs effortlessly? Sure Cap has dodged these guys but you have the scans to show how he bounds around them ala Spider-Man. None of what you have mentioned has to do with strength, necessarily. Cap is an expert fighter, and therefore an expert at using LEVERAGE to take down bigger and/or stronger opponents.
Cap is, and always has been, peak human. Just look at any canonical bio...

To be honest I don't know where this "Spidey can't be hit by anything" came from, I mean I used to suffer from it and when I look back I can't actually figure out where I got that idea from and this was long before I went on forums 😖 maybe Marvel put some sort of hidden message in Spidey's comics to make people think that lol.

well there's a rough thing about that...
In most occasions where wolverine's KOed it's either through circumstance, sneak attacks or after he's been put through the ringer...
Not to say he can't be KOed it's just damned hard to do or at the very least unlikely.
likewise, I wouldn't be making the thread to say that humans can just hit spiderman with no problem at all.. I would just be making it so justify that a peak human character with a certain degree of skill and experience has a punchers chance where spidey is concerned.. even if he is in high gear...
unlike wolverine and his KO record... Spiderman's limitations are more self imposed and there's no real good way of gettin rid of that.
But yeah, I'm just afraid that it might look too much like disrespect... that's the only thing I'm struggling with at this time.

Like I said, Jin, I totally support you. You probably have them, but I have scans of Spidey wondering "Who can sneak up on me so fast," with reference to Cap. As well as Cap blocking two of Spidey's shots, and laying him out with the 'mini A-bombs' in his gloves.
As well as their civil war confrontation.
And then, there is Iron Fist and Deadpool both keeping up with Spiderman...
