It's much denser (yet somehow light) and sharp (sometimes, when it's convenient). It travels a short distance and is perceivable to bystanders. Wolverine's claw doesn't need to be moving at Mach 10 to pierce through thick steel. 😬 It really appears more like it travelled through the truck at a constant speed slicing through the truck as if it wasn't there in the same way Wolverine's claws can slice into materials that he'd need to propel the claws at huge speeds to get into.

Ok lets do some math, the speed of light is aprroxiametly 185,000 miles per second.Something tells me that even if your reflexes are 40 times that of a human you should still not be able to dodge lasers all the time.
And that's not even taking into account the silly comicbook physics that have Cap, Batman, and Punisher dodging lasers. At least Spidey has an explaination for his evasion feats.

No im sorry the pre-cog is one of the reasons why his reflexes are 40x that of a human. That still means he should not be able to dodge lasers.
Even if he knows its coming he will not be able to dodge lots of lasers with 40x human reflexes he should have died ages ago. My point being there is always inconsitency in comic books.

Precog allows Spider-Man to react a split second before the actual attack. It doesn't matter how fast the attack is, he reacts a split second before it can really hurt him.
Of course sometimes he is just too slow. That happens. But in most cases, his spider sense works just fine and he'll be able to dodge almost any attack.

Pre-cogniton allows you to KNOW that something is going to happen but does not neccesarily give you the ability to do anything about it.
His reflexes are 40x that of a human, he may know that a laser is coming but how is he going to dodge something 185,000 MILES PER SECOND with 40x that of a human?
If you know im going to shoot you how can you dodge.

Gotta agree with who-kid on this one. The Spider-sense is BEFORE the incredible reflexes kick in.

"Oh oh somebody sneaking up behind me", those kinds of things. His spider sense does not only give him a (vague) idea of where the attacker is, it also warns him just before the actual attack. His reflexes are 40x that of a human, he may know that a laser is coming but how is he going to dodge something 185,000 MILES PER SECOND with 40x that of a human?
Listen, it's comics we are talking about. Stuff like that happens all the time. Captain America, Black Panther, Batman, they all dodge lasers like it's nothing and they are a lot slower.
At least Spider-Man has an excuse for it: his spider sense. The speed doesn't matter, it warns him a second before he will be hit by the laser. That's what it does.

Almost correct. Precognition allows Spider-Man to know that something is going to happen and that he has to jump or dodge very quickly. His instinct tells him where to jump or how to dodge. He also knows more or less where the danger is coming from.
That dont mean a damn thing, wether he knows where it is coming from and where to jump to, a laser moves to fast for him to dodge.

EXACTLY, he should not be able to dodge it, but we know he can because he does it all the time.

I dont care it shouldnt happen, but it DOES ALL THE TIME therefore I belive he can do it

Ok he knows where its coming and where to go...so he can basically move at 185,000 MILES PER SECOND before it gets there..not MILES PER HOUR.....PER SECOND!!!!!
It aint possible hes TOAST and what about the times when he dodges multiple lasers???

No the fact is he moves before the lasor is fired so he dosn't need to move faster than the lasor because he is out of the way before its shot.
