"He always finds a way", "that good" won't cut it for getting hit by much stronger people, period. And having the same amount of injury as much more durable opponents. Skills are great and all, but people push them too far on the forum.
oh by the way... incredible artwork.. honestly.. I think the girls faces look... well meh.. but everything else... gill.. the coloring the shading and the designs... incredible stuff.. I was really impressed.. good job man, you've come a long way from what you first opted to show me a year ago... well done.

As aggrivating as such statements are there is a bit of validity in that the poster may not khave the knowledge, skills and abilities of the character, and leaves the argument open to things that they themselves may not be able to see but the characters with the knowledge, skills and abilities might.

Sorry im afraid it does. Forget about Cap, what about Shang Chi, what about Taskmaster? Forget them how the **** did a normal human being from The Enforcers called Snake use his abilities to grapple Spiderman long enough so he could get knocked out? What about Blade before he got amped? Blade didn't have superhuman strength or reflexes but he kept on killing vampyres all the time.
I can see where the Spiderman fans are coming from. Spiderman is superhuman how can he get beaten up somone who is not? The problem is, why does it keep happenng? It cant be because Cap is a popular character because how does it explain why he gets beaten by other street levellers. The writers cant be doing it to annoy Spiderman fans, therefore it is an established fact in the MU humans have superhuman attributes and skills compensate for not having any powers.
What do you want to do, you want to use the handbook as evidence? Even those people who are arguing for Spiderman will tell you that the handbooks are crap and always contradict what happens in the comics. Forget about Cap, there are loads of examples of superhumans doing things beyond their range on a regular basis. I know I was arguing this example of France and Spain to explain peak human and superhuman, but after seeing the street leveler respect thread I changed my mind.
As I have been saying all skills in the MU get amped by people who have mastered a certain skill.
People in the real world study magic and belive in the Supernatural but cannot do what Dr Strange can do.
Technological genuises exist in the real world but cannot do what Tony Stark or Dr Doom can do.
Acrobats exist in the real world but cannot do What Taskmaster can
do.
All the best martial artists in the real world know how to punch, grapple and take damage from stronger opponents, in the MU this skill is taken to a highier level.
Stop picking on Cap! Take away Cap's skills take away all threads with Dr strange's powers and Iron Man's armour. I have seen a thread here with Dr Strange vs Thor. That should have not been posted because Dr Strange should not be able to take on Thor because he is only human, but the explanation for him doing what he does is that he is extremely talented.
