Why do people feel compelled to give that out? I mean, I guess it was on the news, but that's stupid irony. But interesting scene, Soljer.
Was just kind of on the topic of Spiderman using an instinctual fighting style, and how Captain America straight up TELLS him that it could cost him his life.

Good post. Maybe since cap is teaching him he could do better against martial artist because when he fights them he regularly gets his ass handed to him. By the way, this isnt to you soljer, this is to someone else that said this. What do spiderman leaping ability have to do with this fight. OOOHHHH, I know, when spiderman is getting his ass handed to him, he can leap away from the fight. I hate when people bring up the fact that people are faster and stronger than the other person. Spiderman himself has fought people who are faster and stronger than him and defeated them. Cap has fought people who is faster and stronger than himself and defeated them, so can i ask what is the point. It all come down to experience, which spiderman dont have and it comes down to tactitian which spiderman dont have and he is going to get his ass handed to him.
So experience and being a good tactician ensures a win? So Nightwing can take Clor (cause technically he's not even a year old yet)?
Experience helps, but when someone outclasses you in multiple categories its a problem. Spider-Man is not only faster, but he's stronger, more agile, has the spider-sense plus his webs to fight long range, more durability. The only thing Cap in his favor is his skills and knowledge of Spider-Man. Throw in a Spider-Man who's not hero worshipping or holding back and Spider-Man takes an easy majority.
Gonna fall back on the fight in AMS? Fine, Cap landed his blows, but what happened at the end? Spider-Man was fine. Cap proved he can hold his own up close, but even then he really had to push it, going as far as to throw away his shield to keep his advantage. In a straight up fight Cap loses as Spider-Man could just keep his distance, but even up close Spider-Man should still win. He's fast enough and has his spider-sense to dodge enough of Cap's attacks, Cap's fast but Spider-Man WILL tag him. Considering Cap managed to punch a few times with little effect and Spider-Man can fling a jeep several stories one-handed guess who's gonna be hurt more when hit?
Straight fight, Spider-Man 8/10
Up close, Spider-Man 7/10

Show me a scan of one experience fighter that spiderman has defeated. Ex.... in wolverine, captain america, daredevil, elektra, black panther range. Show me a scan please do because I have never witnessed him defeated a fighter that is in this caliber. Give me a scan, give me a book number something to back up your words. I bet you cant find nothing because it never happened.

I dont care what you say about that book. Spiderman never mentioned that he was holding back, never. These are spiderman word "hes so good, he landed 3 punches on me and I havent landed anything." Then he said that cap dont know about these (which was his tentacles) and he FINALLY got a lick in. Spiderman felt every blow and he also was numb from waist to feet. By the way about cap throwing away his shield, you must didnt read the book. That was a plan. I guess you didnt see it just like spiderman didnt see it. He knew that spiderman was going to avoid the shield but he threw it to get in a lick. Without spiderman iron suit, it wouldnt have been much of a fight. Cap owned spiderman just like every other fighter has owned spiderman.

Spiderman also has to be careful and hold back or Dare Devil's head might fall off. Superman hodl sback fighting people he should knock to the sun but he powers himself down so he won't kill them because he doesn't know how much they could take, so as Spiderman fights he will increase his strength knowing how much they could take without killing them. Those fighters without healing factors, large amount of weapons with skills, and so on shouldn't be able to win at all.

but they do and thats what i want you to understand. So youre telling me that spiderman WANTED to get his butt whooped by spiderman. You really do think that spiderman wanted king pin to knock him out or vulture to knock him out and run amoke the city hurting people. Now with the superman thing. So superman held back when he fought doomsday, what about lobo, naaah, what about darkseid. Superman knows who to use his strength against just like spiderman knows who to use his strength against. Since a lot of people say that spiderman is so fast, why in that fight, since he didnt want to hurt captain america, why didnt he just speed blitz behind cap and held him until cap calmed down or threw him somewhere.
Originally posted by carver9Exactly Spiderman knows not to use full strength on peak humans, so he doesn't. Remember where Punisher let Capt beat the crap out of him because of respect? If a little brat kid started kicking you and ounching you, would you throw him out the window? and when you try to hold the kid he bites you and knees you in the goods, if you really wanted to hurt the kid, you would of bashed his skull in.

Also, the reason Spidey just didn't hold capt and over power him is because it sells comics. 😛

Your argument dont make sense. The fight wasnt even good between cap and spiderman, cap had the advantage the entire fight. To make a fight interesting is to make it even and that fight wasnt even at all. It was one sided. Who is the peak human, spiderman couldnt even land a lick in the beginning of the fight, so he never had a chance to test his strength. Like I asked a 1000 times, please show me or give me comic where spiderman has owned a fighter, a good fighter, you wont find any because its not there. Im still looking for your scans that you asked me about, Im struggling to find it but i will. Cap wins this 8/10.

No, it's the Spidey in the Civil War fight who commented that he was a chump compared to Cap.
Iron Man's a chump compared to Captain America. Doesn't mean Tony won't win.
P.S.--Yes, I do know what you mean by your statement. But really, what would you say if you were forced to face off against a known hero, especially one you idolize? Of course you're going to fight like a chump.
