and yet you believe that some omnipotent ruler of everything can simply exist because you say so... I think you said it best here...

"I have no words in my extensive vocabulary to describe such utter, rank, and unmitigated foolishness."

hypocrite...

The Word (holy Bible) says that He exists, I just reported what the Word says.

and so because god says he existed forever that automatically means that he did... If I tell you that I have lived for millions of years would you believe me... what if God is lying to you because he doesn't want you to know the truth...

He is right. Using your statement, modified subjects:

When it comes to God you believe God just happened by itself and for no reason. That is as absurd as me affirming that the Saleen S7 in the above picture just found itself in my driveway (I don't have one I am just speaking hypothetically).

It is an argument that begs the question, who created the creator? Or did he come into existence without some intelligent design? For a response to be valid, the same logic must be applied to the existence of God, otherwise the logic is fatally flawed.

Perhaps life just always existed in some form and did not need to be created.

Playing the Devil's Advocate here 😉

No, I would not believe you because I know better.

God cannot lie.

Numbers 23:19
19 “God is not a man, that He should lie,

Nor a son of man, that He should repent.
Has He said, and will He not do?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

Titus 1:2
2 in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began,

Hebrews 6:18
18 that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might[a] have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.

so God is telling you that he is not a liar and you believe him once again... ok what if I write a book in which it says that I am not a liar... would you believe me then...

No because you are a man and men lie. But God is not a man that He should lie.

I have already presupposed that the Bible is the Word of God. So since that has been settled in my heart everything that God says about Himself I believe as well.

But if he claimed to have been inspired by God...

God is eternal (i.e. the Alpha and the Omega, Beginning and End, First and Last) that is why He does not have a Creator. Furthermore, God is self-existent. Interestingly enough His Name is derived from the Hebrew verb to be.

Why doesnt God have a creator? Why is God the exception?

Get saved and when Jesus comes to catch us out of here you can ask Him. Yes? No? What say you?

A scientist would state that existence has been eternal. The Big bang wasn't the beginning, it was a beginning.
