Kratos vs Sephiroth

If he can will himself out of being turned into solid stone, then yes that would not work.

I was under the impression Kratos was just as capable of losing that fight as winning, meaning he is susceptible to the power of Medusa right?

His Pale Horse attack can turn you into a frog, along with shrinking you and making you emo.

And when Sephiroth has performed Pale Horse to turn someone into a frog? Honestly I don't remember.

It's not a scripted event but it is an ability he has and the rules permit it, so Pale Horse is fair game here.

Kratos has like, three different weapons that could send any Blade Beam or Pale Horse blast right back at him, so it's pretty moot considering he can even deflect some blasts like WITHOUT them circa Ghost of Sparta. Not to say any of those are nearly as bad as a head-on Thunderbolt from a miffed Zeus. Which barely fazed Kratos for very long.

Oh and flight, TK, teleportation and intangibility never saved Persephone, Thanatos, Ares, Zeus, or even the Sisters of Fate, who all had either some combination of these abilities if not moreso. Hell, sucking Kratos into a pocket dimension and an attempt to destroy him from within his psyche failed too; Seph won't be playing the will-breaking game either.

Which is why it is a slim chance. Sephy will have to use Pale Horse as a sneak attack. Consider he has clones and illusions and such, he might be able to pull something out of his hat.

Yeah, but Pale Horse hasn't been stated to have been used by Sephiroth in any point of the story either. It's a featless game-play magic, technically.

It's a spell that transforms super human opponents into frogs whilst making them emo and tiny. So yeah, obviously featless, but doesn't mean it won't work.

Sephiroth likely loses but I'm just mulling over the ways he may stand a chance.

Lulz, even if Sephiroth nails him with Pale Horse, Kratos would still win.

Even as a Tiny Emo Frog, he is > Sephiroth. awesome

But Kratos as a frog is still much faster than Sephiroth.

Though this is all assuming Kratos does not use said superior speed to behead him at the start of the match.

Intangibility?

When I said "Kratos is faster," I meant that Kratos could kill him before Sephiroth could fully process a thought.

Kratos will yell in anger first, giving Sephy time. He's Greek and all that jazz. 😖hifty:

The yell in anger is to Kratos' advantage.

Sephiroth will cower in sniveling, girly, bishounen fear at Kratos' manly shouting, making him feel weak and helpless, and hoping that Cloudy-poo will come and save him from the big mean shirtless man.

Ho ho, there we have another reason. Sephy is so girly that Kratos will think this bout is one of those minigames and will not think to kill Sephy, giving him time to win. awesome

You are aware Sephiroth cannot actually survive sex with Kratos, right?
