November Elections

Reminder:

VOTE PARTY-LINE REPUBLICAN: Or Hysterical Liberal Feminist Nancy Pelosi Will CASTRATE America!

With Election Day upon us, our nation's men and their obedient wives must make an important decision: do we want two more years of a muscular, ballsy America – or will we allow anemic California filly Nancy Pelosi to become Speaker of the House? Rest assured that Pelosi, who cunningly conceals a radical man-hating agenda beneath an icy cloak of uppity feminist empowerment, would promptly commence dismantling all that AWESOME about our #1 country.

How? Watch the Republican National Committee's all-new TV ad to find out!

Hell, some of these senate races might not be known for a few days

I like how Chirac is on par with Osama, Il and Amadenijad.

Now if we can just boot Santorum...

democrats are projected to win the house with a 15 seat majority

senate is very close

Not sure I am too happy about Peloski being speaker though...

Just not a big fan of hers.

LOL.. I take it you read Scott Ott's article?

I'm curious to know how many U.S. citizens and voters actually know and realise that after Cheney, she'll be the next in line to the Presidency.

Cheney wants to retire....I think he even said he doesn't even want to finish out the term and will resign/retire after the elections.

...and?

I mean, I suppose that most Americans have some conception of this--we've all had some sort of Civics class--but I don't suppose most of us care. Why should we?

Would give him more time to shoot his friends.

His retirement party could potentially decimate the Republicans for decades to come.

The lack of knowledge of your (not you personally but the general populace) own political systems and institutions is just ironic.

dude, i normally agree with what you have to say, and appreciate your input in most debates, but your being totally pretentious and condiscending. and no, i wouldnt be flattered to be painted as one of the two intelligent americans so dont mention it.

You have a far higher faith in the US population than I do.

Considering that the average person cannot name their state senators or their rep in the House, I very much doubt that most people know the Speaker of the House is third in line for the presidency.

ugh 🙄

It wasn't an exclusively American comment. The western world as a whole take for granted the democracies they claim to value so dearly. Voter apathy in America just appears far more prevalent. I'd be highly surprised if the average U.S. citizen was aware that Pelosi is second in line to the presidency (excluding the President).
