Yeah, the last part...people get raped and abused by loved ones all the time - in fact the vast majority of rape and abuse is from someone close to the victim. Sad, but true.
And just because two people are in love it does not mean they want to have kids.

I do understand, of course I do. You're associating sex with a stranger with the things you've experienced, which is understandable. But for me it was kinda the opposite, it was someone who was supposed to have loved me and yet I've shared better and more intimate times with practical strangers, so you can see my viewpoint. I suppose the bottom line is, it's down the individual to decide what suits their needs and act on that. Which is why generalisations cause offence, although I should work on keeping my temper curbed hug

Maybe, that sort of thing is dependent on the specific law (which is different in different states/countries), but statutory rape is specifically having sex with someone under the age of consent, because that person cannot legally give consent to have sex.
