^ That he was looking at Cap, that Surfer missed, and that any zomg superspeed feat occurred in the space of time that Cap cocked his fist back AND that Thanos has the IG? I'm pretty much embracing the comic wholesale. Just not any pathetic attempts to divorce an ambiguous non-feat from a fight where he had the IG.
Originally posted by psycho gundamIt's not a no limits fallacy since we both agree that Thanos could easily amp his reflexes. Bottom-line: he has the Infinity Gauntlet.
that's still a no-limits fallacy. i understand the benefit of the doubt, but it goes both ways at least partially here since thanos clearly blinded himself to his attackers potential attacks and the speed/reaction/etc amp is still dubious.agree to disagree?
I agree to disagree.
Originally posted by h1a8It's because Thanos moved out of the way while against the others he didn't. It's all plain as day and there's nothing inconsistent about it.
You said that Thanos failed to react against Thor Hulk etc. Yet reacted against SS. Why? Is it because Thanos used the IG in the Surfer incident and not in the others? Or is it because of inconsistent writing? If it is the latter then why couldn't it be inconsistent that the IG has Thanos amped yet unamped at times? Thanos busted through CA's shield which takes extra hand speed to achieve. This alone shows an instance where he was amped in speed.
It doesn't take hand speed to bust his shield it takes raw power. How can I argue with you when you make the most ridiculous assumptions ever and make it plain as day you can't comprehend the simplest actions.

Doesn't matter Superman would take the IG from Thanos and slap him silly with it.
Originally posted by JuntaiExcept he told us he depowered himself for this battle. You can't ignore the obvious and the fact Thanos was fighting them all blindly and create false facts simply because you don't like Thanos.
Either way it's a non feat. You either have a godlike powered Thanos performing a feat that you can't accurately separate from his godliness, just as you can't apply any of Parallax's feats to Hal Jordan, or Extants to Hawk, etc etc. . . or . . Surfer just missed. It's time to move on to something else here though.

^ You can acknowledge that Surfer mistiming it is more likely the result of Thanos lowering his left hand for the boom rather than Thanos intentionally moving it out of the way? Appears to me Thanos had no idea Surfer was coming. Clear shot and Surfer missed.Phail, Surfer. Phail.
You really think Surfer just missed on his own or did Thanos move his arm and he missed because of Thanos' reactions?
Originally posted by psycho gundamAgreed. Debate is difficult when people deny what is on panel and make things up based on nothing.
c'mon now. i know you're sticking to your guns but this is getting ridiculous.h1 level denial.
surfer came from over his head/right shoulder, that's why his right eye is depicted like that.
