Thanos vs Superman

By the way h1, way to go picking the meaning of ethereal that best suits your agenda...namely downlplaying Thor's feats..

here's another instance where Thor flinging some poor soul into space...take not, not orbit but space as Thor aimed for an asteroid. that is far greater than your lobo feat as it just sent lobo into orbit while thor flings the poor dude onto an asteroid far out in space...

i'm sure you'll invent some crazy shit which is not even on panel just to discredit it. but what the hey, whatever.

My 2 cents

Supes punching Lobo into space was when his powers were increasing and that power increase as far as i remember was temporary.

However, as far as i can tell, you can throw something farther than you can punch something so that makes me think that the Thor feat wasnt all of that.

I think supes strength is greater than thors.

I mean, seriously, it's difficult to take your word for anything Thor based as you're not all that familiar with the character as evidenced by several threads concerning him. Perusing through the respect thread isn't enough. No one objective would agree with that claim, either. Superman's stronger than Thor, but not to the degree of which you're claiming.

i think its the same thing. i'm not at all familiar with the superman feat, but i'm guessing it was an uppercut punch right? so when superman connects hist fist with lobos chin, the punch doesnt stop there, the fist continuous its trajectory thus transferring more energy to lobo. in effect its also like flinging upward. so, yeah, its the same thing.

The word Ethereal is from root word ether, which means light or airy.
The handbook explains that the Serpent was intangible and only the A section had materialized. But why does it matter when it still is nothing in comparision to Superman's feats. Even the boat helped pull.

Nothing you shown is even close to what Superman has done.

This is not really a good example. We dont get to see the guy reach space or anything. Could be hyperbole

And while his reaction time isn't on the level of supes I doubt thanos would be a statue.

Unless you can show me superman making a reputibly strong superhuman look like a statue its a moot feet to a non-human.
