1) Superman has displayed super speed fighting on super humans more than once. Not to mention his other speed feats,

2) Given that Superman has undeniable super speed feats across multiple titles and different situations, the onus isn't on people to prove Superman can, but that Thanos can.

3) Super human and super strong do not endow a character with a form of super speed, human or not. Again, the Onus is on people to show Thanos can cope with Superman's great level of speed, not for people to prove Superman can use his already proven ridiculous speed on Thanos.

4) Get with the program. facepalm

Dawnstar is in that picture too. She can fly many many times the speed of light. So many times that she is listed as super luminal. She's a statue to him too.
