Temporal bubbles have been known to encircle galaxies, including timelines.
We don't need to speculate anything. We saw the worlds in direct relation to Superman. They were about the size of marbles.

Spiderman - Untrue. Out of continuity. By that logic, Darkseid was jobbed out to a street punk with a chain.
Fantastic Four -- Untrue as well. I'm not even sure what you are referring to. So far as I know, he has never lost to the Fantastic Four.
Silver Surfer - Never actually been beaten by the Silver Surfer, save for on the Astral Plane where their powers didn't work the same. Hardly any sort of guage for a physical confrontation. When they DID have a physical confrontation, Thanos beat him to the brink of death in just 8 or 9 blows.
Squirrel Girl I'll give you.
There are a few that you haven't mentioned, in fact, that I know of. I'm a big Darkseid fan, I promise you. My favorite villain, one of my favorite characters. But Thanos has gotten a lot more respect a lot more consistently.
