I do like the Icons series, but the general look of the ML just puts me off. For me the DC ones have the superior sculpt, and as far as the plastic thing goes, i know Mattel had horrible problems early on, but from what i've heard the last few waves have really fixed those problems.

As for variety, I honestly have to argue; DC line had stuff like Gentleman Ghost and Kamandi. That's pretty obscure, and at the very least matches Marvel for me.

That, and I'm still waiting for a Jim Lee/Morrison Era Cyclops of decent quality.

Or has that become available lately?

The Icons line was great, and DC does have some pretty obscure characters. It sucks that the smaller Infinite Heroes DC has aren't that great. I love the smaller scale MU figs.

Looks like Mogo might be in the movie.

Wonder if he'll socialize.

I especially love the design for

Spoiler:
Parallax much more intimidating and suited to an abstract creature than the comic version IMO
.

This could well steal that Marvel movie's thunder.

i can see why this costs $ 200 million, but this looks way cool

Looks pretty cool. I hope this movie succeeds; DC needs a positive example of something besides Superman/Batman being worthy of being made into a film franchise.

They're released far enough apart that there should be room for the pair of them. The main competition it will face will come from X-Men: First Class and Transformers 3, both within two weeks of it's release date.

Agreed. It was just my way of saying this looks like a great flick...same way I feel about Thor's.

(X-men and Transformers: good movies, but I was never really a fan of either.)
