Storm vs Polaris

Started by DarkCrawler37 pages

I didn't assume anything. They flew to space in seconds (which was stated in the comic, AND in the scan I showed to you). That requires speed in excess of escape velocity. 🙄

Get your facts straight. Debating with someone who doesn't even bother to research the stuff that is being debated is really annoying. Fun for a while, yes, but it does get tired.

Oh yeah, and dodging direct questions with pictures and stupid quips isn't debating either, just to notify you. When we ask for canon proof, you have to supply canon proof or you have nothing. Posting an unfunny image that has nothing to do with the discussion doesn't really help your case.

Just to notify you.

Wow, DarkCrawler ownage!

Polaris 6/10

They are close in power but once Lorna erected a force field Storm in finished. Lorna's force field will give her time to do all her blood pulls and "semi-planetary scale heart strokes" or whatever.

Griffin said on his interview, "that Surfer cant be killed cause of his new upgrade.", as soon as he left they nearly killed Surfer against his fight w/ the 2 promedial gods.

What im getting is that whatever the writer says on an interview is there plan to what they want done to that character.. Till its written/on panel and release then it can be considered as an actual feat..

You're thinking of Magneto in New X-men 151.

But yeah, Lorna all the way.

Yet and still, it didn't say "escape velocity". 🙄

Flying into space isn't escape velocity unless it says escape velocity on panel. Three times.

Once would be nice. It it doesn' say it, but it's implied, cool.

On the flipside, if it works for one, it should work for another.

I'm talking about Namor. Also, "Escape Velocity" must be shown on a speedometer on every panel of the comic.

Also, that fission thing being a jest eases my future annoyance senses. They're kinda funny too. I might visit more often.

The comment may have been sarcasm, but it's still WELL within Storm's range. 😎

But she already tried that and Storm knocked her out with a lightning bolt.

This is not Magneto Vs Storm, this is Polaris Vs Storm. Polaris is a weaker version of Magneto and she has lost to Storm in combat.

I don't see any proof why Storm's lightning attack wouldn't work again. You can scream all day long that Polaris should win because she was trained by Magneto but there is no actually proof that she can withstand another lightning attack.

Anyway love seeing Lorna getting some respect. 😄

I too find it strange that on panel it shows that Storm can beat Polaris, yet people still go on.

At least with Magneto, Storm on more than one occasion has shown the ability to kill him, as he has shown the ability to injure her on numerous occasion.

Storm vs Polaris is lopsided.

I thought the junkyard would give her an edge.

Storm 8/10

Interesting 🙄

Doesn't matter. We still know that he can go at escape velocity, AND faster then that. I did not assume anything. The comic clearly showed us that he can fly in excess of escape velocity. How about you stop being a retard and try to understand the meanings of the things we are discussing here? Here, I put it even simply. Few simple sentences.

"Flying to space in seconds = Faster then escape velocity."

Got it?

Exactly.

Extrapolation and no proof.

🙄

Scram!

So Namor did fly into space under his own power?

In order for a mass to escape beyond the point of orbit, it must initially move at "escape velocity." Thus the name. 😐

It says that NOWHERE.😐

Yes.

You know...I don't think it's ever been written ON PANEL "Superman can exceed escape velocity."

So assuming that Big Blue can get off the planet is just speculation! There's no proof!
