He's only above them in terms of utmost potential but you're fooling yourself if you believe he's at that universe creating level at all times. You forget this list also takes into account how these characters are usually written otherwise I'd have John Stewart and Guy Gardner grouped with Hal and Kyle. As he's usually written, CA is not as good as the vast majority of people on the herald level list.

Herald definitely. Only thing that keeps him from Sub Skyfather ranking are those embarrassing losses to Batman/Nightwing and Black Adam. He got demolished by Kyle Rayner too.

Pretty much, but most of these guys don't know about Superman. They just see the fast flying brick, and not the guy from which all reality is binded, and can close black holes and fix all time from collapsing by rubbing his hands together. A man who is so powerful, the Quintessence -- five of the most powerful beings there is -- actually got together and had a trial on if he should be allowed to exist. A guy that most of the godlike beings in the universe consider as an equal. A guy who stopped Spectre from taking his full wrath of Triumph, a guy who stood in the path of The Black Racer and caused it fulfill it's duties and take away a soul. A guy who's thrown down with gods and demons in various dimensions and defeated them, shrugging off their spells and attempts to down him.

I agree Jun. Superman is an elite top tier. He has a simple powerset but you can't argue the results. Like it or not, the guy's a beast.
