Wishful thinkin on both our parts.
She may just absorb his one shot and the fight will continue. Or, she could just catch it, hold it , throw it in empty space, mix it with those energies and throw it back at him.
They could just play pitch and catch and ware each other out. Or, he could just one-shot her. 😕
She doesn't seem afraid or worried at ALL though. 😕

Actually, Hudlin was just unaware of Storm's powers here. That's all. Its nothing major. It was just a one-time mistake.

Tuna, the lady holds back a lot. This has always been part of the character. She has a tremendous amount of power, but out of duty and morality, she holds herself back and uses only a fraction of her power. This is the classic Storm character. Hence, in the Rougestorm arc, she rode roughshod over the elements and easily created that storm. However, when Colossus spoke to her, his words hit a moral core within the character. She then exercised restraint in dispelling that storm and would not allow herself to ride roughshod over it. It made the task that much harder, but she did it yet.
This is a bloodlust fight. In other words, morality and duty need not apply to limit the character's powers. Storm kicks butt!

I think she may turn his powers back upon him. Whatever happens, she's going to show some power. LOL! Magneto is NOTHING to Storm. She holds back always when she fights Magneto partially because he is far below her power levels and she doesn't want to hurt the poor dear too badly or kill him. SS is in another league altogether.
