naturally im confused as all hell. cuz i thought that it wasnt until recently the monitors started taking on individual names, but now it seems that they have always had names and this mandrakk(the dark monitor) guy has been imprisoned for Eons.....facisinating. especially since i thought Anti monitor was as bad assed end-of-the-universy as it gets. plus if i interpreted it correctly it would seem that not only the original monitor but his "children" were the first sentient beings in creation rather than the Malthusians....all in all not a sucky retcon, but still confusing.
If anyone thinks that Final Crisis sucks then they need only look at the clues. Grant Morrison is at the Helm of the grand scheme of things with the FC plots. All of them. By the time we get thru reading FC, we'll be like, damn, did Morrison just do that? What happened? Holy shit. And we will reread it years from now with the same awe.
Other than That,
Rogues and The Spectre are my favs.
I"m also enjoying Superman beyond. Did they actually hold a book with INFINITE pages? And that Silver Super Atom guy seems very promising.

I am in this till the end..so i will have the right to speak my mind....it is bad so far i.m.o...i dont care who the writer is....and DC is slowly loosing my interest....since the interview with morrison and dido and there sticking it to readers for a year and all the confusion, its no wonder this is failing....but i will be there till the end, and i will honestly say if i enjoyed it as a whole...but so far...it fails 🙁

I feel that Final Crisis will be better if read in a single sitting. Piece wise, it's just a bit too complicated to digest.
I doubt anyone else will take the time or effort once all the issues come out to actually give it one more chance, but I think my own enjoyment of the event will increase dramatically.
So far, though, I've enjoyed the tie-ins far more than the main event. Legion of Three Worlds, Revelations, Rogue's Revenge, even Superman Beyond.
And what the f*ck is up with next month only Final Crisis: Revelations being released ?
No main Final Crisis, Superman Beyond, Legion of 3 Worlds or Rogues' Revenge. Batman 680 also is released in the last week of the month, and this after Batman 679 was released at the beginning of this month, so it's almost a 2 months gap between the issues.
Quick question.
I'm considering picking up thsi Final Crisis, but wonder what I should read, and what I should just read a plot-sumary of.
I know I need to read 52 and Countdown, are any of them worth the time? Or shall I just go to Wiki and read a sumary?
And what about Sinestro Corps? Is that considered a tie-in? I would like to own it in a TPB, but that kinda gets a problem if it is a tie-in.
52 was connected to Infinite Crisis then Final Crisis, and Countdown is supposed to be a tie-in for Final but really you don't even need to read it. Just read the summary
Sinestro Corps really isn't a tie-in, but I could see some stuff connected or touched on in Final. However, it's not a crucial tie-in.
