What people forget is that spidey is like a pseudo-ninja. His powers make up for the natural skill he lacks.

they're an equalizer. He's super powered but high levels of skill can make up for what he has too.

if you are trained like wolverine then your skills are super powers

Which is why he has problems with people with skill in the comics. If he was as uber as the Spider-Man side thinks he is he'd never have problems with people with skill let alone repeat problems with those people.
