Cyborg Superman vs. Silver Surfer

You know, it's funny. I started countering all of that..and realized..it's the same crap in circles. Nuh uh, and unrelated speculation doesn't count.

SS is not Superboy Prime. - He won't be getting out of the zone. Your soul world example wasn't even the same thing.

Surfer won't be doing anything while under heavy attack except defending himself and losing power.

Phantom zone can be used in the blink of an eye while other attacks are being used.

It's obvious SS can't manipulate all tech, and his power can be cut off/ or taken from him leaving him helpless. See black panther for proof...and he certainly isn't hilariously going to snap his fingers for a win either.

Surfer is curbstomped.

Surfer can't just transmutate anything with a fingerclick (at least not a thing as advanced as Fortress of Solitude, he can do that with less advanced things without any effort). Transmutation needs concentration, especially if it's high level one...
And Henshaw won't be just standing there and watching the show. So Surfer probably won't have an opportunity to concentrate on such an advanced transmutation- he'll get his ass kicked in the process.

Exactly. Well said.

He's trying to convolute things to bury the simplicity of it all.

And there goes the quality of the debate. Right to the shitter.

Meh.

Might have me mistaken for somebody else, i dont remember saying "speedlitz overuse" ever? and i have not said anything about transmutation? or is the care to explain for me and the other stuff for someone else?

Anyway- why?, if cyborg supes has to tranfer his consious to the fortress i think it will be his undoing, they are allready both inside the fortress and surfer has the power to obliterate the fortress....not taking into account the current debate about transmutation or cosmic awareness...surfer is to versatile added to his power level added to his cosmic awareness...he can and will beat opponents that it seems he cant

What are cyborg supemans options?
Beat surfer straight up....no
BFR surfer...i dont see it...but phantom zone tech might work..but he has to try it

A match will start with no powers up and no manipulation on anyside
Match starts-Surfer has the power to win right off the bat with one power display
Cyborg will have to do somthing other than all out attack and that is where he fails...

But i am only one person with a view amongst many

It's obvious Goob and I will not see eye to eye on this one.

Plenty of evidence has been posted on both sides already, and minds can be made up. Long posts take time that I don't have. Everything that I've said borg could do and resist..has been shown or explained and speculation is still what I've received.

I think everything that's been shown is good enough.

Really because by my assessment...

Things like the Soul World and Mephisto's domain are good examples of how and why Surfer would retain his powers. ESPECIALLY since you want to act like SBP's time/space powers(of which Surfer is also in possession of) are the reason that he was able to escape.

Surfer can transmute the entire fortress in with a single blast(just like he did that house and all the beings on that planet) while Henshaw is transferring his consciousness so there won't BE a heavy attack. You've NEVER shown Cyborg creating matter from energy, which means that when the fortress is gone he's screwed.

The Phantom Zone is no guaranteed win against Surfer, and I've yet to see anything that demonstrates Henshaw transferring his consciousness and reconfiguring something the size of the Fortress of Solitude into a massive amalgam of every kind of tech he's ever been in contact with in the amount of time it would take Surfer to use a single blast of the power cosmic to transmute the fortress.

Tech's got a worse track record against Surfer than vice versa, and there's only been ONE instance(at least to my knowledge) of Surfer being unable to transmute tech, any other time he went down to it he didn't try to transmute it in the first place(which is of course, PIS). And the one instance that it WAS resistant was against an Elder of the Universe who had a massive amount of prep time and unknown resources to fortify his tech against the Power Cosmic.

Now on the other hand...

Hanks never shown resistance to transmutation, and he's been affected by it the only two times it's been attempted it was successful.

Aside from transmutation, Surfer has access to every weakness Henshaw inherits from Supes(Red Sun Radiation, Kryptonite, Solar Energy absorption), and he hasn't shown the tolerance that Supes has to Red Sun and absorption.

So I see Surfer taking the majority. I won''t put it past Henshaw to pull some wins here and there if they fight in character, but Surfer should win at least 6/10 from everything I've actually seen.

But seriously Avy, you HAVE sparked my interest in Henshaw so if you can come up with an appearance list for him I'll start a respect thread for him.

I give it 8/10 in this scenario (1 for luck, and 1 for skill) in Henshaws favor.

Classic Henshaw vs Surfer, it's a 5/5 as they stalemated in their fight.

Current Henshaw with Sinestor rings I won't get into yet.

A respect thread for Henshaw is a pet project I'd like to handle myself..similar to my Erads and Blue threads.

He could at least assist?

Otherwise...get to work, damnit!

You do know that Kryptonian tech also has self-molecular control right. It's missles managed to turn earthly elements into sunstone. and it'll heal right back. that's the whole idea behind kryptonian tech. It can transmute elements into itself so no matter how many times it'd get transmutated it'd just turn back or heal itself if destroyed.

durhuc Avlon and Goober seemed to finally agree to disagree and you had to start it up again! durfist

Yeah, in the crossover, Surfer hit Cyborg with the power cosmic and...nothing happened. I don't think they could hurt each other on equal footing like they were.

Can surfer transmute Cyborg Superman before getting his jaw clacked? I mean. C'mon. Both characters SEEM to have ways of ending the fight off the break...

That crossover isnt canon therefore inadmissable.

He exposes the same weaknesses that Superman has and his weaker durability gets him beaten quicker than Supes. Surfer for the win.

Cyborg possesses him and transmutes his body FTW.

Henshaw can do the same though.

It's like people don't care that Henshaw couldn't be in a superior location to fight...

Do Surfer vs Superman debates normally end with Surfer fans walking crying "Transmutation?" Why do people have this mentality that Cyborg Superman can't do what Superman can do, when it only makes sense that he's actually superior in all aspects?

It must be Surfer's countless feat in non-organic matter transmutation.

Homey, he put superman's DNA in a rock.

He is the master of Bio/org.
