Superman vs Goku (Official Thread)

You guys are going about this all wrong.superman wouldn't stand a chance against goku. This is a fact, not an opinion. Goku's will and power is far greater than superman's without question. Who here remembers the buu saga? Vegito, for instance, with only powering up he send a wind gust that cut up buu's face, if it wasn't for buu having regeneration powers, he would have been done for. Thats the single greatest advantage buu had, which is in fact, the ability to regenerate. If it wast for that, Goku could have easily killed buu. Even so, buu was still was defeated. Who else but goku can eliminate some one with regeneration powers. Wat about wen they defeated cell, same scenerio right. cell could regenerate and he still got killed. Now imagine superman against someone who can regenerate? Superman has no attack that can permanently eliminate someone with that kind of power and regeneration. My point is Goku has more migic attacks than superman, and goku virtually has no certain limit to his ability and can keep evolving into a greater power. SS3,SS4,SS4 fusion, etc. superman has a limits. I could keep going on about this.

Um...Vegetto isn't Gokou, Buu has bad durability compared to the rest of them, Cell was destroyed by having his body disintegrated, same with Buu which Superman could easily do, Buu was pure evil and had to be beat by the Spirit Bomb which is meant to hurt only things evil, and was more powerful than Gokou, Superman has no limit to his power either since he gets stronger then closer he gets to the sun, and if he stays in it there is no end to how strong he can become while Gokou isn't immortal like Superman so Gokou can never achieve the power Superman can and Superman can achieve much greater power much faster. Not to mention Superman is already leagues above Gokou anyways.

Superman has limits now? But his power is stated to limitless countless times.

Also I love the idea you think regeneration trumps Superman. You don't think in over 70 years of Superman comics that he's never fought someone who can regenerate. Superman has fought and beat someone with any combination of powers you think off. He's fought sentient stars radioactive super gorillas, swarms of tesseracts and even his own death.

Also no way does Goku have higher will power than Superman. He looses half the fights he's in and has given up in a fair few. Superman has had his heart ripped out while fighting an omnipotent being and still wouldn't give up and took the win.

i can see why he thought he was #1 (freiza who is obviously fater had been only using a minute amount of his potenitial power/speed in his introductory form)

Seriously, there is no possible way superman could beat goku. I'm a goku fan, but i also acknowledge wen there is someone stronger than goku. there isn't. Personally, i was im more of a hulk fan, but i also know that superman can pretty much stomp on hulk within minutes. im pretty sure about goku though. like i said earlier, this is a fact.

Besides the fact about 4 different instances I can think of easily prove They aren't light speed it's also mistranslated plus Burta is lying since Freeza was way faster than him without even going final form. Either way you look at it he lies. He isn't faster than light nor fastest in the universe even at that point or before it.

Um how is Gokou beating somebody faster, stronger, and more durable. Gokou has no feats that Superman hasn't easily topped. Not to mention nearly every fight that mattered Gokou didn't win or won with help of some kind in DBZ. Not going to start with how I think Hulk would fare against either.

Well Goku is peers with Buu so yes he could have destroyed a plaent outright. Freiza did before as mentioned by vegeta when planet vegeta was destroyed. The only reason the chain reaction thing happen was to build more suspence and drama for the fight between goku and frieza. Its a plot device like Galactus always being defeated only when hes starving, the chain reaction blast served to intensify the battle.

Gokou isn't peers with Kid Buu at all..or he wouldn't have gotten beat so badly by a Buu that was kidding around. Gokou is peers with Fat Buu which is the weakest. And Freeza destroyed Planet Vegeta...never shows how and the blast that he used to destroy namek drilled through the planet and blew up in the core it didn't blow up on the surface at all. Fat Buu's Kamehameha blew up on the surface of the planet, the one Gokou is a peer to, and it didn't even come close to destroying the planet at all. I guess Fat Buu <<<<SSJ Gokou and Perfect Cell? Or just perhaps the blast needs to drill into the planet, hit the core, and explode it from there until somebody as strong or stronger than Kid Buu which SSJ3 Gokou isn't.

Its up for debate if Goku is peers with Buu or not, Goku is as strong as mystic Gohan and believe me on panel eveidence implies very strongly that Goku could easily destroy a planet.

As for that scan, it's photoshopped/translated incorrectly. The real one was posted somewhere earlier on the thread (I don't have time to dig for it now).
