DVampireIt's only planet destroying when they say so and that's normally by special attacks like the kamehameha wave. I think having a higher power level makes it easier to harm the other characters though.
A more ki, desintegrate more durable characters, that is prove when Cell and SSJ2 Gohan desintegrated him until the last atom when the others could not do, the durability of Cell is prove when he was attack by a human army, he wast intact, a very Hulk alike feat. (and a DB character is more durable a more ki they have, like when Goku use his finger against Trunks)
