False.

there's also the time he healed from having his throat cut by diana's tiara in seconds...

thats just two.

his regen might not be on hulk's level, but it is there...

He could do a double icebreath / heat vision attack like he did against the imperiex drones, icebreath to Hulk's body, heatvision to his face / eyes so that he's temporarily blinded, while blinded simply throw him into outer space. BFR rules are basically one of the reasons that flying characters take more wins against non-flyers.

Ok your saying that this is a possibilty though not that he could do it easily.

Heres a thought though. Eventhough we have never seen the Hulk fly could we assume that Hulks energy could be used as propulsion? I mean hell if it can generate that much force it could at least give him some sort of flight.

Superman is NOT very fast.

True perhaps, but Hulk has self-sustainace. He needs to fly nowhere to recharge, or recharge at all.
Untrue, ever read the story with Titannus?

Dude, he was using nanites to drain Supes stored energies. Not's not what regeneration is.

re·cu·per·ate
1. To return to health or strength; recover.
re·gen·er·a·tion
1. act of regenerating; state of being regenerated.
2. the restoration or new growth by an organism of organs, tissues, etc., that have been lost, removed, or injured.

"Recooperative powers"...is by no means equivalent to what is commonly terms "Regeneration". Superman is not even comparable to Wolverine's regen....much less Hulk's.

Im talking about pure reneration of cellular damage, not toughness or durability.

Also, I have no idea whoever claimed Superman is not fast. My point was that it does take time to build up that speed...and in a hand to hand fight no speed advantage is ever really shown...

Especially in fights with slow people like Solomon Grundy...etc.

wolverine has one of the most high end healing factors in comics, and comparing superman's to his is silly...

superman has a healing factor, it doesnt have to be as high as wolverine's given his high durability, but it is there, and would be classed as regeneration in all likelihood...

To be honest I was half expecting Hulk to start flying at the end of WWH # 5. I guess I've watched too much DragonballZ, Hulk looked like he was Super-Saiyajin for a few panels.

superman actually has very little acceleration/decceleration time... thats why he can suddenly appear in front of people, almost as if he just appeared out of thin air...

To be quite honest he should be able to do it eventhough we havnet seen him do it. Cyclops cant fly but he can at least use his optic blast to slow down his descent if he falls from a great height.

WWH is smart and could if he gets stranded in space at least fly in straight line, on earth he could at least levitate but full flight would be a problem.

But this is rarely (if ever) shown versus formitable Slow moving, powerful opponents....so I have to conclude either Superman is dumb as a rock, a glutton for punishment, or requires more acceleration/decceleration time than most people think.

Even to Speedsters.

PIS is not applicable. Superman has the speed, and has shown the capacity to use such in battle tons of times. Since it is in his ability, it is viable on the forum.

exactly. superman might be worried about fighting fair in his latest issue, but on kmc, the gloves are off...

That does show speed, but nothing nearly as fast as most claim, as the same 2 opponents were shown to nail Superman with strikes as well.

CIS isnt exempt from debates. IS it CIS or PIS that Superman doesnt always use his speed?

Well I sure didn't think so....Especially when it is needed to determine fighting ability versus slow moving but powerful and durable opponents....as well as being needed to determine Superman's fighting style.

Actually, in that fight Doomsday only hit when Superman let him, and he broke his claws doing it.
And him appearing on multiple sides of an opponent overwhelming them is something he can easily do to Hulk, given his gigantic speed advantage.
You can try to downplay it all you like, it's still applicable.

Certainly PIS, since it's still in his character to use it as well, as the scans above, and tons of other examples clearly show.

No Mentioning Events of PIS
Plot Induced Stupidity, or PIS, is when characters don't use their abilities or skills to the fullest extent as shown before, even within their personality ranges, for the sake of the story plotline. It makes lesser powered characters an actual challenge against higher powered characters in the comics.
