Its not a slick move. Mxy went looking for The Joker and took advantage of the situation. Its different to other villains who have actally sought out power and suceeded.
Its impressive but Mxy put limitations on himself that aloowed it to happen, its not like Joker planned for it to happen. What Dr Doom did was more impressive, he actually constructed a plan and stole The Beyonders powers.

By gaining powers by accident? Instead of actually planning to do it? Mxy to an extent gave him the chance to take the powers its not like he had to fight him.

i'm not saying he is...
people can always say joker was amped, but when you consider what he did while amped, what his mind could conceive...
he even had the spectre under his power... the actual wrath of god made a slave to his whim...
to me, thats impressive... its what his own mind could conceive...
and the difference between joker and doom, is that doom is a highly rational mind most of the time, rationality is something that doesn't even occur to the joker...
