Don't get what you mean by that & this is starting to get boring. I'll end this shit right now.

Frank didn't cross any dimensional barriers in that crossover. I know that you also know that in those days usually whenever a crossover took place the universes were merged as if they had always been one & the same. Frank went from NY to Gotham. So did Spidey IIRC. Nobody ever mentioned crossing any dimensional barriers. Also, Batman never says "You came here from NY? WTF man?! You were already in NY homie. Gotham = NYC dumbass". Thus, in DC, Gotham != NYC. To say otherwise is to inadvertently give Frank more credit than I'd give him. "Daaaaaaaayum! Muthafvcka wanna fight crime so bad he went cross dimensional! He ain't playin'!!!"

Here's how to downplay a feat people. Joker tricked MXY? Wow. That's never been done b4. Especially not multiple times. Joker must be the smartest man alive. 😄 Seriously, Doom's feat is far more impressive.

How to piss off Batfans & Batfanboys? Spidey & Pun had to go to Gotham, cuz you know if they had Bats go to NY he'd be dead in a week 😄

Thats what the gas birds are for...As far as non powered villians go, Joker is the most dangerous. As far as overall villainy joker is considered the greatest villain of all time by many for a reason. He has made his enemy's life more a hell then any other villain. For a guy like batman, the worlds greatest detective to get outsmarted by joker over and over again, it has to say something. Not taking anything away from punisher but it seems like you already are bias to him, so im just trying to say it won't be as easy as you might think for frank to win.

That is like the worst reasoning I have ever seen... Seriously... That's like Sado levels of sad.

This is the guy that said that Frank with a GL ring could take all of DC and could even beat Darksied on Apokolips.

What part are you talking about? The jokes or the serious stuff? Please explain what's so bad about it too. What part of what I'm saying ain't true?

Well i really can't rag on the gentleman...seeing as i was the founding punisher fanboy, but i've come to my senses overtime i've realized frank can't always win, but he'll never just lay down, he'll fight till they are scrapping him off the pavement.

I'm not surprised.

So how did he go from the DC universe to the Marvel Universe if he didn't travel to a different Universe? They might not have played it up.. but Gotham doesn't exist in the Marvel Universe.

And if that was the case then it was a non-canon crossover and not viable as evidenceo n the forum. To date I only know of JLAvengers as being canon to both companies.

So obviously if it wasn't mentioned it must not have happened... Good ol' Ignorantiam

I'm going to refer you to xanth where people cross a dimensional barrier without even knowing it.

Uh huh... That would be downplaying it allright...

Funny thing is that doesn't make the other side the fanboys...

Exactly. That Gotham = NY shit the dude said was totally false then right? 😄 I'm awesome.

Read back cresh. I never claimed it was canon. I'm trying to explain to you that there is a Gotham AND a NY in DC. They are quite obviously not the same thing. You for some reason don't seem to get it. IIRC Sado said it was mentioned in later Batman or Pun books. If true, I guess that would somehow make it canon.

It didn't. Read Spidey/Bats 1 & 2 & Punisher/Bats, & they old Spidey/Supes. (Maybe DD/Bats too, but I don't remember it.)They always pretended like it's all just one universe. You must know this. Why would I make this shit up? They don't seem to mention crossing barriers until JLAvengers.

IIRC after he gets outclassed by Bats & Bats foolishly, stupidly saves Joker from him. He says something like "Going back to NY. It's a cesspool, but it's MY cesspool" Don't quote me on that though. Check it for yourself. Been a long time since I read it. If you can prove that Gotham & NY are the same in DC canon(will be hard/impossibe since both have been shown to be in DC), do it. Otherwise let's just end this because as always, brainchild's right. 😄 (& cuz' that "I'm not surprised" bit seemed like an insult & I'm too lazy for internet beef nowadays. It's tiresome)

Never said it did. Just playing around. What happened to you Cresh?

Oh and how many times has MXY been tricked into temporarily banishing himself from earth?

Not entirely. My point is that Gotham was based largely on New York.

One writer for DC said that "Metropolis is New york during the day, and Gotham is new york at night.

Dennis O'neil in his afterward of the novelization of Knightfall even goes so far as to say that gotham is a section of Streets of manhatten, those eing 14th street and below.

So it really depends on the depiction of Gotham and the writer.

But it still stands that even though Gotham is no longer New york, it was still based heavily upon new york.

SAdo is someone whom I don't take very seriously on here.

It wouldn't be a canon universe so the point is moot. in the 616 marvel universe there is no gotham. Even mentioning them is implying a canonicity to them.

That one is canon. It was mentioned in a Avenger's handbook, and the story continued in DC.

They're not anymore.. they used to be. as I stated above what different writers said about their own works..

You're not getting the point is what I'm saying. I'm not saying they aARE the same, I'm saying they are similar enough it wouldn't be that big of an issue.

You mean by superman who's not too shabby in the smarts department? as I'm sure that Raoul can tell you about that.

Punisher win.

I must say I'm impressed. I'm not easily impressed. Keep posting, maybe rational will rub off on some to eliminate the foul stench of stupid.

Joker even though Punisher has guns Joker is a physco path he will kill with every thing

Ok. Irrelevant but it's nice to know 😄

Debatable(Not going to though) He won't have the connections in NY he does in Gotham.

I already know of his computational skills & his perfect memory. But common sense? Street smarts? I challenge Raoul or anyone else to edify me as to why I wouldn't be able to trick Superman into eating Kryptonite cereal.

Even children know not to take candy from strangers?

😄 Say Supes likes to take Lois to a local diner. (Like the one movie Supes got his ass kicked in)I suggest that he tries the cereal. I say it's on me. I insist. He wouldn't fall for it?

He could scan it with his extrasensory abilities and know not to eat it.
