Codename 47 vs Bob Lee Swagger

I doubt that there are anyone today that can make a shoot that steches over a mile, I also doubt that a single Man, can take down 20 Delta Force Trained Soldiers, I also doubt that a Guy can shoot down a helicopter, yet I accept this thing in this tye of debate because it's not up to me ore you for that matter to gauge whether ore not this is possible in a real scenario, but to gauge the performance in a fictionel world against each other, not begin overanalysing then for instance we could not debate selene because there is nothing that can survive a shotgun blast at point blank range.

No it isn't, but what the majority of the other posters are pissed about is that you doesn't accept a statement about 4 kilometers but happily accept a statement about a 1 mile shoot, even though to my knowlegde the rifle that he in the scene should have no way to fire a bullet that would reach a target 1 mile out.

I have come to accept this. As I said, I question all sorts of little things I see in movies.

Woah, easy there soldier, you're yet to prove the 100 men thing.

Well, it wasn't quite 100, here is what was said, word for word. Scene 2.

Glover, Koteas the Russian and some CIA guy number 3 are discussing using Swagger.

Russian "Bob Lee Swagger, USMC, retired. He is the best there is."

CIA guy 3 "His last assignment went wrong. Put in unfriendly territory on a loan out and left as expendable. Opposing force sent an attack helicopter and a hundred man company. His best friend and spotter was killed. No official report."

Koteas "Ghost report says he inflicted 70% casualties, the rest fled."

So it's 70 men AND an attack helicopter. He took them all out, single handed.

The longest range recorded for a sniper kill currently stands at 2,430 meters (2,657 yd, or 1.51 miles), accomplished by Corporal Rob Furlong, a sniper from Newfoundland, Canada, on March 2002 during the war in Afghanistan. Corporal Rob Furlong made this record-breaking kill while he was participating in Operation Anaconda, in March of 2002. He was serving with Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLI) at the time. To make the kill, he used a .50 caliber BMG (12.7 mm) McMillan TAC-50 bolt-action rifle.[8]

oh..and incidentaly...the rifle used by 47 in the clip is a Blaser R93 LRS2 mid range .303 rifle....hence a bit of artistic license has been used there

It's not their fault I read far too much into what I see on the silver screen instead of just accepting it.

So when you watch the 'Hulk', do you sit there and just fume because a human couldn't ever turn into an unstoppable green giant?

'Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon' must have been difficult for you, eh? Chinese people can float/fly, how stupid is that.

Swagger wins. with or without munitions.

Too crafty

.303, as in .303 caliber?

Another discovery. In the Cabin shootout scene, Bob Lee takes out 24 highly trained mercs AND the attack chopper.

So, 70 men and a chopper, then 24 men and a chopper.

Yet you're still using your typical double standards, odd.

I'll need an explanation for that. How?

Check that, 70 then 28, counting the two choppers.

47 killed 15+ (lost count) Russian swat team members in the hotel scene that were actively after him. We can compare feats all day.

47 is an assassin, he's trying to kill Swagger. He'd probably opt to kill him in the safest manner, via sniper. Swagger could counter this with his own sniping ability, but unfortunately for you, it is pitiful in comparision.

Noted.

Yeah, Swagger's onscreen feats FAR outweigh 47's.

So 47 made ONE long ass sniper shot. Swagger killed almost 100 men AND took out TWO helicopters, man. Top that.

Arent you curious as to why I never brought that up before?

Let's see, your angle for Swagger winning was 'Swagger sniping 47', you have yet to accept that 47 can kill at 2-3 times the distance that Swagger could on his best day, otherwise you would have conceded that Swagger is outclassed in any scenario and ended the nonsense.

Remember the "expert in every aspect of combat" and "the very best of them" clause 47 has?

"expert in every aspect of combat" and "the very best of them"

One long ass sniper shot is all 47 would need, he's a professional assassin, there would be no need for him to engage Swagger in a pistol or hand fight, not that he'd lose to Swagger in either of those scenarios.
