USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE IV (RENEGADES)- Battlefield

It's not going to stand and fight it's going to fight it's way to the generator, the two Jedi damaging it slightly in the process. All the other Jedi get to the generator, and by the time the BV50 will get to the generator it's the full Jedi force against it. I doubt the BV50 will simply stop and attack the two Jedi, and if it does the two Jedi can kite the BV50 to the center.

I kind of like the difference in opinion! It shows that the players are invested in the gameplay and are, in a way, playing characteristically because the Renegades and the Jedi should be disagreeing all the time. Not that that would be beneficial, just neat for character interaction.

However, I'm promoting the cooling pipe ambush rather than the entrances ambush. I understand it is risky letting it come near the pipes, but cutting through them will take time (they are massive) and it will have to fight us off anyways.

We should wait for Jovan's sixth opinion to see what we'll do. If he supports the ambush plan we'll go with it as it'll be the majority.

Oh geez, I've been counting Xeth in the ambush! So we have six Jedi... if we do the entrances plan, we only have enough for two teams of two, and then two other Jedi on their lonesome. If we do the cooling pipe plan, everyone sticks together in teams of two.

Just need to decide who goes where, but first which plan.

I too admire that the Jedi want to go with their plan. 🙂 Even though I disagree. 😛

Heck if I couldn't get you guys arguing about how to kill the BV-50, then I would have out and out failed...

What happens if the droid is one turn away from the generator? Are the Jedi at the adjacent entrances now one turn away from the droid?

Hmmm, probably start cutting the lines then engage the Jedi when they close in.

Actually only the Jedi at the nearest entrance is one turn away, if that happens.

Meanwhile, if we put the Jedi at the cooling lines, those stationed at the line that the BV-50 goes after will be right there to attack it before it so much as blinks (if it can blink).

While I see the merits of the plan, and that seems to be what we will end up doing, I don't like it. I'd like to make a point that I think it is a bad idea. However since the Jedi are technically out voted, I'll comply.

Alrighty... Quick question though, will intrusion be required to hide here without notice or is the things scattered around and the time we have to prepare be enough?

To be actively unnoticed will always require an Intrusion roll to see how well it was done.

With Vera and Sean (If he's still here) being the only ones with intrusion this may put a kink in our plans...

Theoretically, the Jedi aren't really outvoted as we have Jovan.

Ush, if your standing in front of Entrance A one turn away from the generator, and then there is also a group one turn away from the generator at Entrance B, and Entrance C, then I'm guessing both B and C are one turn away?

Two I am afraid.

You mean if we're standing between the entrances rather than at the entrances?

And I don't know if this was answered already, but which entrance (of A through D) is closer to the actual main entrance of the complex?

I'm meaning if we stand between the generator and the entrance rather than at the entrance. The radius of both Jedi teams from the generator would be shorter and logically the distance should be shorter between them.

I don't think it works like that for the purpose of gameplay...

Entrance A is closest to the main complex.

And yes, for gaming logic, Vlad, if yuo are standing one move away from the entrance at the mid-point between entrance and generator, it is still one turn to move to the generator and one turn to move to another mid-point. This is because there are no connecting walkways between the midpoints.

So if your standing at the mid point between entrance and generator, it is one turn to move to another mid-point to the left or right entrance?
