USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE IV (RENEGADES)- Battlefield

It's one move to go to either the entrance or the centre, and a second move to get to another midpoint from there, be that a midpoint between entrances or a midpoint beteen an entrance and the centre.

Sorry for my absence, but I've been reading and amazingly written fan-fiction crossover the HAS to be read. Star Trek, Halo, Star Wars, this story has got it all, and the plot is extemely well written.

Anyway, whats the plan then?

We should wait for Jovan's sixth opinion to see what we'll do. If he supports the ambush plan we'll go with it as it'll be the majority.

Theoretically, the Jedi aren't really outvoted as we have Jovan.

Considering I haven't opened my big yap the last week, it's only fair I don't get a vote in this. I should have pushed for more online time. Majority wins with me not voting.

Ah and BB, I'm trying to bigger with the renegades but it aint easy to be annoyed at your character if you're always helping me understand the system 😛
I like the idea of an ambush anyway.

Well, my plan fails as it's two turns between each midpoint so I guess we're going with the wait-at-the-cooling-pipes plan. Won't really call it an ambush since barely any of us have intrusion.

Then it's agreed

Alright then, let's bring this droid down.

You know, if this is the prototype that means that the complete version may be out soon... Can't imagine what that would be like.

Ok, I want a precise list of Jedi positions and preparations please.

In light of the fact that the only person capable of hiding is Vera-Kin... I think we should go with the Jedi plan of covering the entrances. Since we cannot hide, we'd be more likely to give it a chance to start shooting at us than get it into position where we want it by waiting at the cooling lines.

Instead, we'll cover the entrances so at least two of us can respond immediately.

Entrance A: Vera-Kin, Wentar Reiua

Entrance B: Denzral Vassisk, Jovan Wiecko

Entrance C: Vlad Shafran

Entrance D: Kiu Dun

Is everyone happy with this?

Preparations will be made by attempting to hide on the walkways just above the entrances (if that can be done) so that when the BV50 comes in, we can leap down on it.

Whoa, looks like minds are not made up after all. Well, I'll be waiting.

Leave it to the Renegades to keep things mixed up, right?

This is where we see the problems of a lack of rigidly defined command structure!

Back to the Council! All is forgiven!

Hah! Fat chance of that! If we were just farting around for the Council then Alura would have been conquered by the Federation already...

It's true.

So A is one turn away from C and D and two turns from B yeah?

Alright, again, what plan are we using? I thought everyone except me and Denz were up for the plan were we would wait by the cooling pipes?
We're not going to ambush it but we're also going to be next to the Generator and since there's three cooling pipes we could have two people at each pipe instead of having to put some people alone at the entrance.

Well, thing with the cooling pipe plan is now that we can't actually ambush the thing, we run the risk of it getting free actions to shoot the crap out of us before we even get to it.

Well those with the Presense power can possibly keep up a good enough intrusion score...

Those powers do not work on droids.

Well I'm all for the Jedi plan, but I'm still not entirely against the Renegade plan either, as I see its premise. However I believe the BV probably will know we are already there, so hiding may not be as wise as we think. We could try and set explosives on the walkways above the main ones dropping them on it when it arrives. We pin it in place with the Force?

Otherwise... meh!

Lets look over both plans.

The Jedi Plan:

Advantages:
1)If the droid comes through an entrance with two Jedi guarding it, those two Jedi can somewhat damage the droid as it moves towards the generator. If it does not move, those Jedi can hold the BV-50 back until the other Jedi come. If that happens, we will have the BV-50 held back a long way from the generator.

Disadvantages:
1) If the droid comes through an entrance with one Jedi guarding it, that Jedi will have to dash to the generator. No way of holding back the droid alone. The other Jedi will move toward the generator as well, and we will have the same otucome as the Renegade plan except that one Jedi will be heavily damaged.

Renegade plan:

Advantages:

1) We will have two Jedi at each cooling pipe, meaning noone will be left alone to be attacked by the BV-50.

Disadvantage:

1) We let the BV-50 get to the cooling pipes uncontested, and there's a chance it might see us and shoot us even while it moves to the generator.

Another thing, while we're at the cooling pipes we will see which entrance the droid is cutting through? Say it takes it a turn to cut through, and then a turn to get halfway. That means by the time it's going to be halfway to the generator, all the Jedi should be assembled at the cooling pipe it's heading towards.

Yes, the cutting is not subtle and you would be able to see where. Well, at the most I'd need a success on an Observation roll.
