This is relatively straight forward. Bad guys will roll dice against you. For every success they get, you will take one point of damage.
Meanwhile, you will be rollign dice against THEM. As a character, yuo are known as an 'Ace' in a fight like this. These vulture droids, and the fruiendlies on your side, are just called 'pilots'.
Ships flown by pilots are pretty easily downwd. Basically they have an armor rating. If you roll enough successes equal to double or more the armour rating of your foe, you've blown it up; otherwise it loses a point of armour (so your next hit is more likely to get the double).
Vulture droids, as far as starfighters go, are incredibly easy to destroy; they have an armour rating of 1. So two successes will destroy one; otherwise a second hit on a damaged one will always down it. What they lack in armor they make up for in numbers, of course.
But wait! Some other factors will affect how well you fight. For this to be made clear, I need to know something about your ship. How big is it?

Vera- well, yuo certainly got their attention... but only in the sense that now most of the park is surging towards you, some twenty times the number that can fit in Xeth's ship.

Ok, Wentar, the deal is that the Vulture droiuds are faster than you, but your manoeuvrability is equal. What this means is in the first turn, and the first turn only, of any fight you have with a particular vulture, it will get a two die bonus. If the fight lasts more than one round they will lose it.
