What tower? You are at the comm station.

"Please, listen!" Vera-Kin shouts. "We must do this in a calm and orderly fashion! The more organized we are, the more people we can extract! You mustn't give in to fear! We can help if you help us!"

I have three, Deadshot, Favourite Ride and Soft Landings.

have to find something else besides standing next to vera-kin and look pretty

stupid question but can we force lift people? in case of emergency, Xeth can lift off and we force lift people we select (thus women & children) into the ship

or he can take off and land somewhat further so that the swarm automaticly thins out?

or can we somehow slow them down with the force or will that make them get trampled?
I'm dying to get the hell out of there and search for those that are left behind!

Wentar- the useful one there is Favourite Ride, which gives you an extra die so long as you are in that ship. With a Dex/Pilot socre of 8, that gives you nine dice you are rolling in total!

The droid fighters roll four dice each; the flying equivalent of battle droids, they are not up to much. But due to their superior speed they get a +2 die bonus against you in the first turn any particular one is fighting you, so every often they will be rolling six.

The Air Fighters the Selenians use are better than the droid fighters but only work in atmosphere. They roll five dice each, they match the Vultures on speed and manoeuvrabillity, and they have an armour rating of two so they are not so easily downed.

Your main issue against Vultures really only is going to be the sheer mass of dice they will roll against you when attacking in nmbers; that damage will mount up.

Down on the ground, another rocket strike lands, mere inches from one of the two remaining guns! Best get going, guys, full plan or otherwise.

Jovan- doing that will likely incite a panicked riot, whether Vera is talking or not. Taking off again without taking anyone on board is likely to raise anxiety also.

Your skills are high, Vera, but frankly not many in the crowd are evn hearing you. You need to be in tune with this crowd...

A building on the horizon falls down as the invasion draws nearer. That's not helped!

-

Kiu, you head into the dense forest, and for a while everyhting is clam save for the wildlife noises.

But een knowing their rough area of entry, you have many square miles to cover. You'll need to narrow this down somehow.

thus returning to standing there and looking pretty it is!

You'd better get something done, Jovan! This is going to turn nasty, else...

(Good morning Ush)

Denzral will trust Kiu's perception, happyy to let the Jedi lead.

Teamwork, Denzral. Any ideas on how to narrow things down?

-

In tune in what way? I understand that they are frightened and seeking a way to survive this onslaught.

Well, yo can try and logically deduce the best way to go or you can use a force power handy with crowds...

Well, Vera-Kin has Leadership, but I am sure that both logic and power will help! Leadership requires a dominant figure to be brought over to my side for the group to adhere, so... is there such a person in this situation?

Vera-Kin knows that the crowd is frightened and struggling to survive here, she will tell them to be unafraid and to draw upon their deepest reserves of bravery in this time of struggle. She wants them to board the vessel in a calm and orderly fashion, women and children first.

Any way I can lower that amount of dice mounted against me? Other then the obvious slaughter?

I'm afraid not, not in a simple battle like this one. The fighters are going to come at you watever1

The oinly way to minmise their dice would be to out-speed or out-manoeuvre them, but you are in a larger ship. Aside from your carrying capacity, your trade-off there is that you can take a lot more hits!

Vera- was actually Empathy I was thinking of...

That's a plus. How many fighters can I attack per turn/round?

Just the one.

Alrighty. Lets hope our side gets a kill per pilot. Half our enemies numbers in one swoop.

Okidokey- but your fight is going on at the same time as the ground fight, so I wish to synchronise the two.

how about force persuasion to influence the big guys in the oncoming crowd to slow the pace down?

Works well one at a time; but on a crowd it's just too slow. If you could idnetify certain important people, then maybe... but unfortunately they are more likely to be strong-willed.

well, the important people should be easy to spot by what they were no? Badges, certain robes or expensive looking clothing....

Oh, of course! Silly me. Empathy would help me understand them very easily. Vera-Kin has the points for it, so let's see how the crowd is feeling!
