STAR WARS: RETROSPECTION- Decay

Then we're off! It does not take long for Zaprosa's Curse to rocket off of Zehat, but the distance between Zehat, a Colony world, and Vono'k, an Outer Rim world, is greater, and it takes a few days in hyperspace to get there.

Once you arrive, Zaprosa's Curse drops out of hyperspace over a brown-and-blue planet.

Okay, I'd like to contact the Council and tell them about my plans then.

You get in touch with a representative of the Council, and he transfers you over.

Ki-Adi-Mundi shows up in hologram form, frowning.

"Con Gordo," he says. "I thought I asked you to stay on Zehat until the transport arrived to take you back to Coruscant. Did I not request that?"

"You did, Master. But I had to follow where the force guided me. I tracked the thieves to Vono'k. They seem to be connected to a man called Sparnik. He's the leader of the old military forces on Vono'k"

"Vono'k?!" Ki-Adi-Mundi shouts. "The Senate has declared that a restricted zone! You cannot be there!"

"I have to finish my mission, Master. Medraud and Medraut must face justice"

"This is not your mission," Ki-Adi-Mundi says.

"I'm sorry, Master, it is what I have to do". With that Con cuts the connection to Mundi, satisfied with having updated the council on the situation. He never much cared for Jedi procedures, and often found it restricting the ability to serve the Force

"What was that about?" Alin asks as he guides the light freighter into Vono'k's atmosphere.

How much has he heard?

The comm unit is in the cockpit, so all of it.

"Just some minor misunderstanding. Don~t worrz about it. When will we arrive?"

"Should take us a few minutes to get to the capital," Alin says. "Or what used to be it. You'll have to start looking there."

"Okay, I'll get ready, you got any ideas where I should start looking?"

Alin sort of shakes his head.

"And I thought Jedi were supposed to be 'all-knowing...'"

"Haha, a common misconception my friend. The Force is all knowing, Jedi are just good at listening to it"

"A load of mumbo-jumbo if you ask me..."

Alin is cleared for landing by the traffic controllers and he brings his ship swooping down over the once shining city that was Vono'k's bright capital. Now, while its former splendor is apparent in its architecture, much of the city is in ruins. The starport itself is no better, littered with wreckage and garbage.

"So, do what you want, Jedi," Alin says, "but be sure that if I don't hear from you about payment, I'll be talking with some of my friends about it..."

You don't like the sound of that, Con.

I will see to it that you will get what is due to you. For now I will have to work on finding my prey."

I will leave the ship with everything I got on me and try to look for any sort of place where people gather (a tavern or whatever is left on that place)

The rundown starport is located in the downtown area, which seems mostly intact, though dusty and littered with wrecks and ruins. The anarchists must have attacked the uptown area more violently.

And so you can find a tavern without much difficulty.

What can I see in the tavern?
