I will admit - he's looking the part better than I thought.
His skin tone in particular. For a guy with a mixed background that includes Hawaiian & Native American, he is looking more like the German/Irish side of his mother. How did get to looking more pale like that?

I see it today. Yesterday your page wouldn't load up, after several tries.

There is some Franz Frazetta influence in his look. Arnold was more the John Buscema-Joe Jusko style of Conan.

Arnie made up for that with sheer presence, only his hair was slightly off in the sense that it should have been darker and differently styled. Even without having that he looked great in the action sequences in both movies. Not to mention his heavy accent helped to give him a harsh, guttural and booming voice.

Momoa is going to be trained with the right look/origin/abilities but if he fails on the sheer presence or just doesn't have the right bearing or voice it's not going to make people think 'Conan'.

3D, I hate the ****ing thing, sooo sick of it.
