Wentar will grip his lightsaber and get on the move. Can I pinpoint them? Or at least know a vague direction they're heading in, I.E. Living quarters or exit?

Yes. Judging by their movements, they are heading directly towards you.

Well then Wentar shall go and greet them.

You run headlong into the person as you walk hurriedly. He draws his blaster on you and you ignite your lightsaber... but it is only Emso Crubo, the Senator's aide.

"You scared me!" Emso says, catching his breath. "Is something the matter? We're not in danger, are we? You're on edge."

"Sorry, Emso," Wentar says. "Another threat has been left for the Senator, they left it on my bed while I was on watch." He pauses. "I can't help but feel it's best we don't tell the Senator about this."

"Oh," Emso says. "He already knows. That was a recording I made of the threat made earlier. You forgot to ask for it. It will be useful for your investigation, will it not?"

That would be overstepping your mandate, Wentar. Yoda tasked you with protecting Senator Farl, nothing more.

Wentar will breathe a sigh. "Perhaps you should have handed it to me personally."

True, but if left unchecked these threats may become a reality, Wentar can't protect Farl forever, something has to be done to but a stop to this before it gets any worse.

"Doesn't the Senator have anyone, who isn't myself, investigating this matter?"

But if Wentar leaves Senator Farl to go investigate, he will be leaving the Senator exposed.

"Uh... well, no," Emso says. "He feels more secure just being protected than actually looking for the problem. He thinks he can wait it out."

"Unfortunately I wont be able to protect him forever..." Wentar says. "But still it would be difficult to investigate anything and protect the Senator at the same time. Perhaps I will speak to him about this in the morning..."

A full investigation would be an issue yes, but I'm sure Wentar will be able to figure a few things out while protecting the Senator. He is their target after all, to get to hi they have to get close, which means getting closer to Wentar too.

As it is, the Jedi Order is not sure as to the substance of this threat on the Senator's life.

The night passes uneventfully, with Emso volunteering to take the rest of the nightwatch. Wentar sleeps decently, though pained by his wounds. In the morning, Emso has prepared omelettes stuffed with different sorts of fillings. The Senator rises before Wentar does.

"I trust the night went well?" Senator Farl asks.

I think this recording may be the start of 'substantial proof'.

"It was... interesting, to say the least," Wentar says, taking his daily medication. "I forgot to ask you this yesterday Senator, but you don't have anyone investigating these threats against you, do you?"

"I do not," the Senator responds between mouthfuls.

"Why?" Wentar asks.

"No need," Senator Farl says. "It will pass. Once they know I have a Jedi protecting me... I mean, who wants to go up against that?"

"But what's stopping them once I leave? I cannot remain by your side forever Senator."

"I understand that, Wentar," Farl says. "I will arrange for greater protection when the time comes. My main reason is that I will only be on Coruscant for so long. On Triskatan, I will be much more secure amongst my people. Too much is happening on Coruscant. Triskatan is quieter."

"I see. How long do you intend to stay on Coruscant?"

"Once the Supreme Chancellor has completed pushing his changes through the Senate, we shall depart," Farl says. "Whether or not you accompany me is up to your Order."

"Indeed. Personally I would not mind staying on longer until your properly settled on Triskatan."
