"Yes, I'm sure," Emso says. "The message came in just after the poisonous gas started flowing into the room. You had asked me to make a tape, after all."

"Indeed? Then the timing still concerns me and it's a shame there aren't any other tapes to go over..." Wentar says, hesitating for a second before deciding to change the topic.

To examine the Senator I must also examine those close to him, he reasons. "Are you sure nothing is wrong Emso? I can't help but feel you get nervous in my presence... Personally it's not a feeling I want to be causing."

Emso does his best to supress his feelings.

"Forgive me, Wentar, it's not you," Emso says. "You're a wonderful being and I'm grateful that you strive to protect the Senator. I am just worried."

"What are you worried about, Emso?" Wentar asks keeping a kind and calm tone in his voice.

"The attacks," Emso says. "I want them to stop, but the Senator won't let you help stop them."

"His aversion to dealing with the attacks is a problem," Wentar says sadly. "But not something you need to worry about Emso, not right now."

Wentar gives Emso a reassuring smile. "I would prefer it if you did not mention this to Senator Farl, but I have spoken with the Jedi Council and they are considering the idea of an investigation. It is one of the reasons why I came here to discuss the tapes. I was hoping there would be more, it could have given me more insight into the situation."

Emso remains nervous and worried.

"That is excellent news, Master Jedi," Emso says. "Please... let me know how that is going. I want to help in any way that I can."

More poking will be required, but not now. Wentar will need to gain more of Emso's trust first.

"That's good to hear, I feel that your help will be invaluable during these investigations," Wentar says. "Anyway, sorry to bother you Emso, I will let you get back to work." Wentar turns to leave, stopping at the door. "Oh, and again please don't mention any of this Senator Farl. I will tell him personally when the time is right."

Next up! Wentar will collect whatever tapes he can find and send them off for analysis.

Consider the tapes sent! The Temple has an excellent analysis lab (shown in the deleted scenes of Episode II) where robots perform their work almost flawlessly unless what they are given is something they are wholly unfamiliar with. Wentar is told that they will begin decoding the voice on the tape and see if there is anything else that can be gleaned from them.

In the mean time, Nartholen and Walder want to know how you want them arranged in the Senator's suite, to best make use of their presence.

Hmmm, whats the layout of the Suite again?

I really should draw you up some sort of floor plan like a good GM would do, but I haven't.

The main entrance leads in from the hallway outside, leading into the main lounge. Branching off from there is the comm room, the dining room with the kitchen beyond, the evening lounge with the bedrooms beyond, and a lavatory.

I assume that they both have the same skill set, so there is no fancy one would be better at fixing while the other is more observant dealie...

Anyway, I want one in the main lounge, so he has access to the main entrance and the comms room.

And the other near the bedroom area, that way the senator should have someone keeping an eye on him all the time.

Indeed, the Senatorial Guards are all the same, with a Guns pool of 7 (with rifles that follow the Bowcaster rules, giving +1 to their pool to make it 8), a Combat pool of 7, and an Armor rating of 1.

Nartholen will take the lounge and Walder will take the evening lounge.

Alright, next up, and one that might be a bit tricky, time to talk to Farl a little more.

Farl is putting on his evening robes in his room.

"Ah, Wentar, how do you fare?" Farl asks. "Are you okay? That gas attack was quite treacherous."

"I'm fine, thank you for asking," Wentar replies. "How are you holding up?"

"A bit shaken, of course," Senator Farl says. "I was not prepared for that to occur, just as before I was not prepared for the bombing. And so soon after I had returned from the hospital..."

"Yes, the suddenness of the second attack unnerved me the most," Wentar admits. "I have been doing some thinking since out last discussion, I wish to talk more about the opposition on your Commission, if you don't mind that is."

"Not at all, Master Jedi. What do you wish to know about the Commission?"

"Well for starters I would like to know who your opponents are."
